So, @Instagram has gotten a lot of attention in the past 24 hours after a district court in New York dismissed photojournalist @stephsinclair's copyright lawsuit against Mashable for its embedded use of a photograph she posted on Instagram. /1

Besides the lower number of screens, one of our problems is awareness. Although we've spent good money on marketing- we can't spend what the big studios spend.
So word of mouth is our way- which is why we have to stay in theaters so that people can discover.

Rodrigo Prieto is among our very best, but doesn't get enough credit because he doesn't have a plainly identifiable style like Deakins or Chivo. his range is extraordinary, but regardless of subject his work always has terrific texture attuned to each project. I adore his work.

I'll never forget how easily they raised $1 billion within two days for the Notre Dame Cathedral fire but for Syria now the same countries are saying how challenging everything is with getting aid/ funds there. You can't even send donations directly because of the sanctions.
