Six months of Vijay Government.
Pluses and Minuses
Pluses:
1. Anti corruption measures: Good start but things are starting to fray. No action so far against any senior Govt official is a dampener.
2.Greater Transparency: Assembly live telecast, greater scrutiny of tenders etc.
3.Accessible Ministers: Ministers and MLA's easier to reach and mostly do not throw their weight around.
4. Existing schemes mostly continued with some name and cosmetic changes.
Minuses:
1. Law and Order: No major improvement
2. Non communicating CM is a significant issue
3.Infrastructure development: Policy paralysis on several issues. Dozens of Projects are stuck or in limbo. Scrapping Parandur airport, a disaster for the State, the new Secretariat location uncertainty etc. cause loss of confidence.
4. Power situation: Fragile with power outages.
5. Profligate welfarism with the slew of new freebies.
6. No clear vision for the State.
7. Industries Dept: Mostly on auto pilot. No proactive measures to get investment.
8. Across Departments lack of clarity on policy issues:
I am not adding the inexperience and the frequent bloopers of the Ministers.
Overall has "Maatram" or Change happened?
Mostly NO. There is a feeling that the CM needs to get his act together, get a better set of advisors for Governance issues (present lot can be his Political advisors). Expertise is in seriously short supply across the Government.
Discontent is already brewing against the TVK Govt. CM Vijay remains hugely popular but it will not be long before the lack of competence of his Government starts to affect his personal popularity.
Hope he seeks good counsel and better sense prevails.

தமிழகம் என்றாலே தொழில். சென்னை என்றாலே ஆட்டோமொபைல். உலகமே "டெட்ராய்ட் ஆஃப் இந்தியா" என்று வியந்த மண் இது. ஆனால் தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழக அரசு பொறுப்பேற்ற பிறகு, அடுத்தடுத்து முதலீடுகள் கைநழுவிப் போவது தொழில்துறையில் பெரும் அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
வெளியேறிய / வேறு மாநிலத்தை தேர்வு செய்த நிறுவனங்கள் - முழு கணக்கு:
1. ராயல் என்ஃபீல்டு - ₹2,200 கோடி - ஆந்திராவுக்கு பறந்தது!
சென்னை தான் ராயல் என்ஃபீல்டின் தாய் வீடு. ஆனால் அதன் புதிய ஆலை ₹2,200 கோடி முதலீட்டில் ஆந்திராவில் அமைகிறது. இதன் மூலம் சுமார் 2,000 நேரடி வேலைகள், 5,000 மறைமுக வேலைகள் தமிழகத்துக்கு இழப்பு.
2. டிவிஎஸ் மோட்டார்ஸ் - நிர்வாக தலைமை பெங்களூரு ஹெப்பாலுக்கு ஷிப்ட்!
ஓசூரை தலைமையிடமாக கொண்ட டிவிஎஸ் குழுமத்தின் முக்கிய நிர்வாக விரிவாக்கம் மற்றும் புதிய EV டெக் சென்டர் கர்நாடகாவுக்கு சென்றது. இது தமிழக பொறியாளர்களுக்கு பெரும் பின்னடைவு.
3. ஹையர் (Haier) - ₹7,000 கோடி - 21,000 வேலைகள் - சத்தியவேடுவை தேர்வு!*
சென்னை எல்லை வரை வந்து நின்ற சீன நிறுவனம் ஹையரின் ₹7,000 கோடி மெகா தொழிற்சாலை, ஆந்திராவின் சத்தியவேடு மற்றும் திருப்பதி பகுதியை தேர்வு செய்தது. ஒரே திட்டத்தில் 21,000 பேருக்கு வேலை. அத்தனையும் ஆந்திராவுக்கு.
4. லேட்டஸ்ட் அதிர்ச்சி - 3 தென்கொரிய நிறுவனங்கள் - ₹1,614 கோடி - அனந்தபூர்!*
ஹூண்டாய், கியா நிறுவனங்களுக்கு உதிரிபாகம் தயாரிக்கும் 3 நிறுவனங்கள் தமிழகத்தை தவிர்த்து ஆந்திரா அனந்தபூரில் கையெழுத்து.
- ஹ்வாஷின் (Hwaseong) – ₹850 கோடி – 100 நேரடி வேலை
- சியோன் (Seyon) – ₹514 கோடி – 918 நேரடி வேலை
- இவாமெட் (Ivamet) – ₹250 கோடி – 400 நேரடி வேலை
மொத்தம் – ₹1,614 கோடி முதலீடு, 1,418 நேரடி வேலைகள், 5,000-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மறைமுக வேலைகள் காலி!
ஆக மொத்தம் தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழக அரசு வந்த பிறகு மட்டும் சுமார் ₹11,000 கோடிக்கு மேல் முதலீடு, 25,000-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட வேலைவாய்ப்புகள் வேறு மாநிலங்களுக்கு சென்றுள்ளன என்பது தான் இளைஞர்களின் குமுறல்.
ஏன் போகிறார்கள்? காரணம் என்ன? அரசியல் சூழல் என்ன?
1. ஆந்திராவின் வேகம் Vs தமிழகத்தின் தாமதம்:
ஆந்திராவில் 24 மணி நேர ஒற்றைச் சாளர அனுமதி, உடனடி நில ஒதுக்கீடு, மலிவு மின்சாரம், 10 ஆண்டு வரிச்சலுகை. தமிழகத்தில் நிலம் கையகப்படுத்துவதில் தாமதம், அரசு அனுமதிகளில் இழுபறி, கோப்புகள் மாதக்கணக்கில் தேங்குவதாக முதலீட்டாளர்கள் வட்டாரத்தில் புகார்.
2. சப்ளை செயின் வியூகத்தை புரிந்து கொள்ளாதது:
பெனுகொண்டாவில் கியா ஆலை இருக்கிறது. அதைச் சுற்றி உதிரிபாக நிறுவனங்களை கொண்டு வந்து ஒரு கிளஸ்டரை உருவாக்குகிறது ஆந்திரா. சென்னையில் ஹூண்டாய் இருக்கும்போது, அதற்கான சப்ளையர் நிறுவனங்களை நாம் தான் தக்கவைத்திருக்க வேண்டும். ஆனால் நாம் தவறவிட்டோம்.
3. அரசியல் சூழல்:
தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழக அரசு என்பது புதிய அரசு. தொழில்துறையில் அனுபவம் வாய்ந்த அதிகாரிகள், முதலீட்டாளர்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கை கொடுக்கும் முகங்கள் தேவை. "அரசு நிலையானதா? கொள்கை நிலையானதா?" என்ற கேள்வி முதலீட்டாளர்களிடம் எழுந்துள்ளதாக தொழில் வட்டாரங்கள் கூறுகின்றன.
தொழில்துறை அமைச்சர் கீர்த்தனா என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும்?
இளம் அமைச்சர் எஸ். கீர்த்தனா அவர்கள் மீது இளைஞர்கள் பெரும் எதிர்பார்ப்பு வைத்திருந்தனர். ஆனால் அடுத்தடுத்து முதலீடுகள் வெளியேறுவது அவரது செயல்பாடு குறித்து கேள்வி எழுப்புகிறது.
அமைச்சர் உடனே செய்ய வேண்டிய 5 விஷயங்கள்:
1. நேரடி சந்திப்பு: டெல்லியில் உட்காராமல், கொரியா, ஜப்பான், தைவான் தூதரகங்களை நேரில் சந்திக்க வேண்டும். போன முதலீட்டாளர்களை திரும்ப அழைக்க வேண்டும்.
2. தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழக அரசு என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும்? முதல்வர் விஜய் தலைமையில் "முதலீட்டாளர் நம்பிக்கை மாநாடு" ஒன்றை உடனே நடத்த வேண்டும். முதலீடுகளுக்கு தடையாக இருக்கும் அதிகாரிகளை மாற்ற வேண்டும்.
3. திறமையானவர்களை நியமிக்க வேண்டும்:தொழில்துறை என்பது வெறும் பதவி இல்லை. அது தொழில் புரிந்தவர்கள், பொருளாதாரம் தெரிந்தவர்கள், உலக சந்தையை புரிந்தவர்கள் இருக்க வேண்டிய இடம். அனுபவம் வாய்ந்த ஆலோசனைக் குழு ஒன்றை உடனே அமைக்க வேண்டும்.
4. நிலம்,மின்சாரம்அனுமதி - 3 நாளில் முடிக்க வேண்டும்:ஆந்திரா போல தமிழகத்திலும் 72 மணி நேரத்தில் அனைத்து அனுமதி என்ற நிலையை கொண்டு வர வேண்டும்.
5. வேலைவாய்ப்பை மையமாக வைக்க வேண்டும்: ஒரு தொழிற்சாலை வந்தால் அதில் 80% தமிழக இளைஞர்களுக்கு தான் வேலை என்ற உத்தரவாதத்தை முதலீட்டாளர்களிடம் பேசி வாங்க வேண்டும்.

விவசாயிகளுக்கான பயிர்க்கடன் தள்ளுபடி எப்போது அறிவிக்கப் போகிறார் Dummy CM?
முழுப்பயிர்க்கடன் தள்ளுபடி செய்வோம் என்று வாக்குறுதி கொடுத்தவர்கள், ஆட்சிக்கு வந்த பிறகு, விவசாயிகளை Slab வாரியாக பிரித்து சொற்ப அளவிலான தொகையை மட்டுமே தள்ளுபடி செய்வதாக அறிவித்தார்கள்.
அதனை தி.மு.கழகம் உள்ளிட்ட எதிர்க்கட்சிகளும், விவசாய சங்கங்களும் கடுமையாக எதிர்த்தன.
இந்த சூழலில் விவசாயிகள் போராட்டம் நடத்திய போது, தாராபுரம், மதுராந்தகம் இடைத்தேர்தல் முடிந்து பேச்சுவார்த்தைக்கு அழைப்போம் என்று மங்குனி அமைச்சர்கள் கூறினார்கள்.
இடைத்தேர்தல் முடிந்து ஒரு மாதம் ஆகப்போகிறது. இன்னமும் விவசாயிகளுக்கான பயிர்க்கடன் தள்ளுபடி தொடர்பாக இந்த சோப்ளாங்கி அரசு வாய்த்திறக்காமல் இருப்பது ஏன்?
இந்த அரசின் மவுனத்தைப் பார்க்கும் போது, மறுபடியும் சொற்ப தொகையை மட்டும் தள்ளுபடி என்று அறிவிக்க முயற்சி நடப்பது போல் தெரிகிறது என்று விவசாயிகள் கவலை தெரிவிக்கின்றனர்.
பண்டிகையைக் கூட கொண்டாட முடியாமல் சோகத்தில் இருக்கும் விவசாயிகள் அடுத்து வரும் பொங்கல் திருநாளையாவது நிம்மதியாக கொண்டாட முடியுமா என்ற வேதனையில் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
காவிரியில் முறையாக தண்ணீரை திறக்காமல் விவசாயிகளை வஞ்சித்ததால் குறுவை பொய்த்தது.
அப்போது, வறட்சி நிவாரணம் வழங்க வேண்டும் என்று சட்டமன்றத்தில் நாம் பேசிய போது, ‘ஏற்கனவே கொடுத்துவிட்டோம்’ என்று குறுவை சிறப்புத் தொகுப்பை வறட்சி நிவாரணம் என Confident-ஆக பொய் சொன்ன முதலமைச்சர், இப்போது என்ன சொல்லப் போகிறார்?
இந்த முறையும் விவசாயிகளை ஏமாற்றாமல், கழக ஆட்சிக்காலங்களில் போல, அனைத்து விவசாயிகளுக்குமான அனைத்துப் பயிர்க்கடனையும் இந்த Circus அரசு ரத்து செய்ய வேண்டுமென கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.

கேரளத்தைப் பற்றிய இந்தச் செய்தியில் நமக்கொரு பாடம் இருக்கிறது.
த.வெ.க. ஆட்சியில் ஒரு யூனிட் மின்சாரத்தை 35 ரூபாய், 37 ரூபாய், 41.50 ரூபாய் கொடுத்து வாங்குவது பற்றி மின்துறை அமைச்சர் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் இதே காலத்தில் கேரள அரசு ஒரு யூனிட்டை 14.50, 12.50 ரூபாய்க்கு வாங்கியிருப்பதே அதிக விலை என சர்ச்சையாகியுள்ளது.
அதைவிடவும் முக்கியமானது, ஒரு தனியார் நிறுவனம் தினமும் 500 மெகாவாட் மின்சாரத்தை ஒரு யூனிட் 8.645 ரூபாய்க்கு வழங்குவதற்கு கேரள அரசை அணுகியும், அதைப் புறக்கணித்த சர்ச்சையில் கேரள மின்வாரியத் தலைவர் அப்பொறுப்பிலிருந்தே நீக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
நமக்கென்ன கேள்வியென்றால், 8.645 / 12.50/ 14.50 ரூபாய்களில் கேரளாவுக்கு மின்சாரம் கிடைக்குமென்றால் த.வெ.க. அரசுக்கு ஏன் அது சாத்தியமில்லாமல் போனது?
இதில் எவ்வளவு பெரிய ஊழல் நடந்துள்ளது, யார் யார் இதில் சம்பந்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள் என விசாரிக்க வேண்டும்.
மின்துறை அமைச்சரின் கட்டுப்பாட்டில்தான் DVAC அமைப்பும் இருப்பதால் அவர்கள் இதை விசாரித்தால் உண்மை வெளிவராது. சுதந்திரமான, வெளிப்படைத்தன்மை கொண்ட ஆணையம் விசாரிக்க வேண்டும்.

The Producers: Get official government positions. Their connections seem to be turning into political power.
The So-Called Strategists: See Tamil Nadu as their political laboratory. Experiment with different strategies, see what works and use the results for their future projects.
The Astrologer: Wants to use political influence to make his business famous. His goal seems to be expanding his brand into other states.
The Ministers: Busy making reels and showing off their power. IAS and IPS officers have become background artists in their publicity shows.
The Common People: Want jobs, development, safety and a better life. Instead, they are paying the price for everyone else’s ambitions.
Everyone is winning something from Tamil Nadu, except the people of Tamil Nadu.

My husband's grandfather is a staunch DMK man. He has Kalaingar's photo tattooed in his arms. He was attracted into the party by Periyar. In fact, he organized a public meeting for Periyar right near a temple area when Brahmanical oppression was too much in their village. His fight to employment, ownership of land, education and humanity were taught by the Dravidian ideology, he claims.
He didn't go to school and owes all his ability to read, write along with awareness of society to reading Murasoli for the last 60+ years. He made sure his grandchildren were well read, so he put them in the best colleges in Madurai even if the family couldn't afford it at that time.
The grand old man is 80+ today, he didn't give one word against my husband's proposal to marry me. Ours was an OBC - SC marriage that usually comes with too much violent drama in TN but it wasn't the case with a grandfather like Kasi in the fam, who believes in equality and love against caste inequality and hatred.
He didn't say (then and now) anything discriminatory or even bitter about the intercaste arrangement, instead too happy and proud of me for choosing my boyfriend as my husband. He likes me more for being educated and empowered. He loved the fact I go to a job in the media, reads books. He was so supportive to the marriage! ❤️✊🏾
Kasi thatha speaks so dearly, and gives courage everytime I meet him.
He was in the peak of happiness when his grandson wanted to marry at Periyar Thidal.
On the day of the wedding, he stood there before Periyar's statue and looked at it with awe and wonder with gratitude filling his eyes. Seeing him look at his hero was deeply moving.
It is people like the 80 years old Kasi from a random remote corner of Tamil Nadu who are willing to get their children, grandchildren married at the Periyar Thidal for a Self Respect Marriage and register it in the same Act. It is their only weapon against the casteist kith and kin from the soil of Madurai.
Yet, Kasi's multiple petitions to Arivalayam seeking one meeting with the party chief as a token of love and respect from an "udan pirappu" went unanswered for the last three years.
@arivalayam must understand that the party is still relevant to a large group because of "why" it was started and "how" it empowered the marginalised people.
Last mile cadre and functionary like Kasi are the ones teaching us the real meaning of Dravidian principles in our families. They are the foot soldiers who adorn the 'black & red' shawls with pride and actually live up to what it actually means.
Y'all keep ignoring such elderly mass and elevate people in the party who chose to throw ideology in the bin for a wedding.
Sad to see the party absolved by fake progressiveness.
