No. It's not a miss at all. There is still a huge threat for catastrophic ice for 8 counties in our viewing area. And Metro Atlanta still has a threat for a lot of ice, too.
We will NEVER apologize for bringing you all the most up-to-date information. It's not overhyping. It's relaying the science. It's not exact. If it was we wouldn't have jobs.
I'm frankly SICK of hearing people complain like this, especially when it hasn't even happened yet.
Replying to @Ella__Dorsey
Not just blaming Ella but all ATL meteorologists ought to be ashamed of how they acted this week with all the hype for NOTHING!!!! We went from ice storm warning to just rain and tornado watch. Has to be the biggest swing and miss forecast in Atlanta history.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dedicated his life fighting for equity and justice. He taught us that even in the face of intimidation and discrimination, we must never stop working towards a better future β a lesson that feels especially relevant today.
Change has never been easy. It takes persistence and determination, and requires all of us to speak out and stand up for what we believe in. As we honor Dr. King today, letβs draw strength from his example, and do our part to build on his legacy.
