I have had the great honour of my short story being published in the same magazine that once showcased Asimov and Henlein. Check out the May/June 2021 issue of Analog Science Fiction & Fact to read it!

Unfortunately @leicesterliz stated completely misleading statistics about benefits fraud in her ITV News interview: she appeared to claim that £8 billion of disability benefits are fraudulently claimed. According to the government's own figures, the amount of fraud is 0-0.1%.

You must not spread information that you know to be untrue. Please refer to the real statistics and stop trying to put the nation's economic problems on the shoulders of the disabled. We're just trying to live! gov.uk/government/statistics…

I'm afraid I'm unable to reply directly to this due to being blocked by one of the conversants, but a transgender person is someone who has a gender identity different from the sex they were assigned at birth. Happy to help!
Define ‘trans’ without resorting to stereotypes.

With the passing of Lynne Reid Banks, this seems like a good moment to recommend her wonderfully peculiar fairy tale adventure, The Farthest-Away Mountain. goodreads.com/book/show/2250…

I have a lot of unanswered questions about Uncle Billy from It's A Wonderful Life. When does he find time to befriend all these woodland creatures? Do they live with him at home? When will he be diagnosed with ADHD?

Cool, are the government also going to start paying disability benefits at a level that a person could realistically live on, and change the assessment system to be less demoralising?
Great to see #AskDontAssume launch today, following co-development with disabled people, stakeholders and extensive research with 500+ people with lived experience of disability. The campaign aims to start conversations about the everyday assumptions disabled people face.

I wanna talk about the disabled angels: there's so many 'in heaven they will finally be free of their wheelchair' and 'they will be made whole again in heaven' narratives around disabled people, so to see visibly disabled angels means everything, thank you @neilhimself #GoodOmens

"Bullying by a person in a position of power in the workplace is good, actually" is a perennial and extremely revealing hot take for people to express.

Watching Riverdale, I thought "it's surprising that there would be so many cults in just one small town", and then I remembered that I'm from East Grinstead.

ChatGPT is great because I can open my phone at 2am to ask "Were the Romantic poets all friends with each other?" and get a satisfying answer that is easy to understand and quite possibly false.
