I’ve pointed this project out a ton already but I think the work they’re doing to build and benefit their community is freaking awesome.
@WhaleStreetDAO are sitting at .003 eth and the team has built a votable dao system, minting bot, volume tracker and other things for its community.
The nfts are cute and whimsical, and the small community is a constant presence in spaces, “whaling” out and busting each others chops.
It’s a fun community that brings value. I know the local ct influencer that you complain has the drop on everything isn’t talking about it, but maybe that’s okay. Maybe that’s even better?
Check them out. All love.

ART VOICES | Season Finale
WHO DECIDES WHAT HAS VALUE?
Value in art never resides in the object alone. It is shaped by artists, collectors, institutions, markets, technologies, and the beliefs that gather around the work.
For the Season One finale of ART VOICES, @jackbutcher and Jalil Wahdatehagh (@jalilwahdat) join us for a conversation about how value is created, recognized, and sustained.
Moving across conceptual art, digital systems, patronage, and participation, the conversation will examine the changing relationship between artists and collectors, accessibility and scarcity, AI and authorship, and the structures through which contemporary art circulates.
If value is something we create together, who determines the conditions through which it exists?
