‘Clip sheets’ have become a staple for all Key stages. Closed questions to ensure key information is extracted, can be easily referred to after the lesson for revision and logistically a no brainer for cover. Simple but effective. #historyteacher ✅🎥

I would love to know what particular linguistic features identify Shakespeare, pinpoint Marlowe. Is our individual language usage as unique as our fingerprint?
The Shakespeare canon may not be quite as settled as we thought. New research identifies Shakespeare as the principal author of Edward III and Marlowe as his collaborator. The old rivals may have been partners after all. @loughnrv @MarloweProject 🎭

This is well worth everyone’s time.
As for the question of digital exams, the answer is simple and unequivocal; an emphatic no.

Publication day today!
Two things make it hard to improve teaching.
First, teaching itself is extremely hard.
Second, helping teachers get better is harder still.
My new book, Improving Teaching, is about that second problem. 🧵
