"Oh no, no, no, no, no!" Mrs Finch shook her face to an approximation of #vermilion. "Not again. Not here..."
The dalmatian nudged past his owner, bumping her into silence. He edged towards Rose and sat, gazing, at the pale, silver-haired, astonished child in her arms.

"Who is it, Gussie?" A light skip and hop of a holler came bouncing down the hall.
Mrs Finch frowned and hissed. "Augusta. Call me Augusta in company."
"Yes, yes, sorry, my dear." A small man, dressed top to toe in #dragonfly blue, grinned conspiratorially at Rose.

At the flat foot of the hill, the two Agents paused for breath. The morning had turned #muskmelon, and Eta shook off a curious itch of warmth.
Upsilon flipped open a crisp, black notebook. "Right, now we need to find..."
"Hallooo!" A round shout rolled down the street.

The shout was followed by a waddle of equally round policeman. His hat perched a little high, as if startled by the fuss.
"Hide!" Eta dived into an alley. "Upsilon, come on. Before the #snollygoster catches us!"
Upsilon sighed. "Come out, lad. Meet Constable Middle."

Seahorse papas tiffle among the seagrass, their curves rife with tiny life. They do not dream of what lies above the waves. Their bellies sway to the rhythm of the sea, and they watch angels rise and fall like sunlight through the water.

Never an #intellectual, he walked in the rain, jumped in puddles and placed bets on raindrop races. I remember how people despaired of his obvious failings, but with my graduation certificate still in the drawer and dry days before me, I envy, wanting to get my feet wet. #vss365

She lit a lamp of ancient sun, evaporating dark into deepest blue of sea, and lay for a moment upon her bed, an aching #shipwreck of long ago, a treasure beating in her chest. Yes, she said, once upon a time, as her curtains drifted like seaweed on the morning's tide.
