The Minnesota Pipe Trades is honored to endorse Eric Pratt for congress. Eric has a proven track record in supporting our members and doesn’t play political games with their livelihoods.
I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Minnesota Pipe Trades Association. Their members are plumbers, pipefitters, sprinklerfitters, HVAC and service technicians. These skilled men and women build, maintain and protect the infrastructure our communities depend on every day. Here in the 2nd District, the trades provide good careers, support families and help keep our communities growing. We need to keep creating opportunities for people to build a successful life through skilled work, apprenticeships and careers in the trades. I’m proud to have these hardworking men and women standing with me, and I’ll work just as hard to make sure they have a strong voice in Washington. #MN02

Moratoriums on data centers are simple, easy to understand and catastrophically stupid. We have laws in Minnesota to protect water, noise and other concerns. Enforce the existing laws. A MN moratorium sends construction jobs out of state and reinforces the image that nothing can be built in MN.

"We’re excited about, the new announcement, the Future is for Everyone Fund that @Meta made yesterday. We think that that’s a tremendous move, good for the communities in which we live and work, and good for the country." - @NABTU President Sean McGarvey to @FoxBusiness.

Via the @MNReformer: Labor and business leaders push for faster environmental permitting minnesotareformer.com/2025/0… "The coalition of business groups and unions — including those representing laborers, carpenters, operating engineers and ironworkers — say Minnesota’s current laws allow opponents to delay projects to death. For example, Minnesota’s air permitting review takes about six times as long as Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin, according to a study by the Minnesota Chamber Foundation." #mnleg

Whether it’s repairing roads and bridges, investing in clean water, or modernizing our higher education facilities, a strong infrastructure plan creates jobs and helps every community thrive. Thank you @StPaulCollege for showing us your vision for the future.

Now let’s see where the candidates in Duluth are at… (I’m a no).
RENT CONTROL >> After years of debate, the Minneapolis City Council is still deadlocked over regulating rent hikes. Could this year's elections tip the balance? @MinnPost asked the candidates where they stand. Here's what they said: minnpost.com/metro/2023/09/w…
