I went to three World Cup Games in Atlanta (first group game, R32, and R16). Stadium officials were fantastic, but getting out of the stadium was extremely slow. To me, it appears as though the two pop-up FIFA World Cup stores blocked a significant number of exits. Dangerous.
Congratulations
Hardcopy in hand! Congratulations to my co-editor @MeganCondis, our brilliant contributors, and the staff at @lsupress! We conceptualized this anthology in 2019, shepherded it through COVID, and it's ready for preorder! lsupress.org/9780807180891/r…

Could not be happier for @XavierT_ATC who successfully defended his dissertation yesterday. Hard work pays off! Can’t wait to see all of the great things you do moving forward. Thanks for being such a great colleague over the past few years, Dr. Thompson!

I’ve not been called either of these before. I disagree with being considered a “strawman” after I looked it up. I don’t mind being called “dr of exercising”. Twitter/X can be an “experience”.

Yes. Yes. Yes.
If you're doing research with athletes & coaches, involve them in it!
🔹 Ask what their biggest performance questions & problems are
🔹 Work with them to design studies
🔹 Get their feedback on interventions
🔹 Translate your findings to them afterwards

After 8 months of fighting.... there are finally 2 cabinets hanging in the lab. Science in Germany is when you need 500 phone calls and 24 meetings to have 2 shitty wall cabinets in your fu€^ing lab. Today I celebrate the victory.

PTs should be educated on how to implement resistance training in rehab. I’m thankful I was able to give our students a short intro to improve confidence in prescribing and progressing movements. Now if we could only get some equipment in our lab space for more practice 🤔#PT
