Almost Five weeks ago, a fall down the stairs suddenly changed a lot for me. For days, walking was impossible. Even turning in bed was a painful reminder of how quickly the ordinary can become a privilege. This weekend, for the first time in five weeks, I dressed up and walked into an Indian wedding. This time has made me realize one of life’s fundamental truth- nothing is permanent! Health isn’t . Illness isn’t . Pain isn’t . Joy isn’t.. Even the version of ourselves we wake up as everyday is changing. We spend so much of life living through the body, yet rarely take a break to be amazed by its intelligence—its ability to repair, adapt, endure, and begin again. Honor your body.. Listen to it. Put yourself first when you need to. And be fully present for the ordinary miracles we so easily take for granted—the ability to walk, move, breathe, dance, and simply live. Impermanence is not something to fear. Perhaps it is THE reason that makes every moment sacred—and worth fully living for.
