What the West Still Doesnât Get It:
Communismâs True Core: The Systemic Lie
Most people in the West think they understand communism. They picture bread lines, gulags, failed five-year plans, and the collapsed Soviet Union. They treat it as a discredited economic theory â an experiment that proved that abolishing private property doesnât work. Case closed, history moved on.
This misunderstanding may be the most dangerous intellectual failure of our time.
Communism was never primarily an economic system. Economics was the surface. Beneath it lay something far more insidious: a total, systemic, institutionalized commitment to lying. Not occasional dishonesty. Not spin or propaganda in the ordinary sense. Something deeper â a civilizational war against truth itself, waged through every institution, every classroom, every newspaper, every conversation, until reality itself became negotiable and the lie became the air people breathed.
The Words Weâre Missing
The Polish language, forged by decades of living under this system, produced words for this phenomenon that English simply cannot match:
ZakĆamanie [zah-kwah-MAH-nyeh] â a state of total, pervasive, socially embedded falsehood, a condition in which an entire society is saturated with lies so thoroughly that truth becomes almost inaccessible.
ObĆuda [ob-woo-dah] â a deep, performative hypocrisy, the gap between what is proclaimed and what is actually practiced, the mask worn so long it begins to feel like a face.
These are not words for individual liars. They describe a system â a mode of social organization built on organized mendacity, where the lie is not the exception but the foundation. English has no single word for either concept, and that linguistic gap is not a coincidence. It reflects a gap in experience. Cultures that did not live under communism lack the vocabulary because they lack the wound.
And because they lack the vocabulary, they struggle to recognize the thing when it reappears in new clothing.
The Continuity: Communism, Leftism, Wokeism
What we call wokeism today, or the broader radical left, is not a new phenomenon. It is the same operating system running on updated hardware. The specifics have changed â instead of the proletariat, we have marginalized identity groups; instead of bourgeois class enemies, we have racists and transphobes; instead of socialist realism, we have DEI statements. But the deep structure is the same.
That deep structure is this: truth is not discovered, it is assigned. Reality is not something to be understood honestly but something to be narrated strategically. Language is not a tool for communication but a weapon of power. And anyone who resists the approved narrative is not simply wrong â they are dangerous, and must be silenced, shamed, or destroyed.
This is zakĆamanie in its modern form. This is obĆuda wearing a human rights badge.
The same movement that insists men can become women will insist, with equal fervor, that questioning this is an act of violence. The same institutions that claim to champion free inquiry systematically suppress dissent. The same people who invoke tolerance as their highest value are among the most intolerant forces in public life. The contradiction is not accidental â it is structural. It is the system working as designed.
Why the West Still Doesnât Get It
People who grew up in freedom tend to assume, at some level, that bad actors know they are lying. That somewhere behind the ideological performance, there is a cynical operator who privately acknowledges reality. This assumption is wrong, and it is why Westerners consistently underestimate what they are dealing with.
The totalitarian lie, at its mature stage, is not cynical. It is believed. Or rather, it creates a condition in which the distinction between belief and performance collapses entirely. People learn to say things they do not believe so fluently, and for so long, that they lose access to what they actually think.

Forget the GDP dick-measuring contest.
In peacetime, everyone obsesses over nominal GDP because it makes the West look rich and superior.
Lawyers, Netflix, fashion shows, apps, and $2,000 handbags inflate the numbers beautifully.
The moment the shooting starts, that metric becomes toilet paper.
PPP GDP is what actually counts because war is decided by one brutal questionâŠ
How much real stuff can your factories pump out?
Chinaâs PPP economy is already 30-40% bigger than Americaâs.
Russiaâs industrial machine keeps outproducing the entire NATO alliance in artillery shells year after year.
China builds more commercial ships in a couple of years than the U.S. has managed in decades.
You donât win attrition wars with stock buybacks, ESG consultants, or financial engineering.
You win with steel, explosives, machine tools, energy, and the ability to replace losses faster than the other side.
Peacetime metrics are designed to soothe.
âšWartime reality is designed to humiliate.
Keep clinging to the comforting numbers if you want.
But remember history doesnât grade on feelings.

My long form interview with Digby Furneaux. Well worth a watch over the weekend.
đšWarningđš - Some parts of this conversation are difficult to hear.
I wasnât originally going to release this interview in full.
This was filmed as part of my upcoming documentary on digital ID. That was the brief. That was the intention. But once I sat down with Andrew Bridgen, it became clear very quickly that this conversation went far beyond what either of us expected.
What came out was raw, unfiltered, and explosive.
Covid. Vaccine harms. Excess deaths. Political pressure. Public inquiries. Big Pharma. Digital ID. Agenda 2030. Freedom of speech. Media control. Child trafficking. Power structures. Corruption. And the personal cost of speaking out.
Because this was filmed for a documentary, not a standard sit-down interview, I want to be upfront. Itâs a single camera angle throughout. I wasnât micâd up, so my audio is a little lower than Andrewâs in places. Nothing is polished. Nothing is sanitised. Nothing is cut to make it comfortable.
But thatâs also why it matters.
Due to the sheer volume of messages asking for the full conversation, Iâm releasing it in its entirety. Exactly as it happened. No edits to soften it. No clips taken out of context.
Whether you agree with everything said or not, this is a conversation that should not be buried. Too much of what Andrew talks about is never allowed to be discussed openly, and that alone should concern people.
If this interview resonates with you, donât just watch it. Share it. Get it out there. Let others hear it and make up their own minds.
Letâs get millions of eyes on this.
Because conversations like this donât surface by accident, and they donât stay available unless people actively keep them alive.
Full interview now live.
This video is also available on Youtube at the link in the comments. This has not be uploaded to the usual Anomalous Media Youtube page as quite frankly it will probably get banned.
If you appreciate this work please consider donating to the production cost of my up coming documentary "This Is Digital ID" GoFundMe link in comments.

No, this is a lie and propaganda @Reuters is willingly pushing on behalf of warmongers who want to undermine President Trumpâs tireless efforts to end this bloody war that has resulted in more than a million casualties on both sides.
Dangerously, you are promoting this false narrative to block President Trumpâs peace effort, and fomenting hysteria and fear among the people to get them to support the escalation of war, which is what NATO and the EU really want in order to pull the United States military directly into war with Russia.
The truth is the US intelligence community has briefed policymakers, including the Democrat HPSCI member quoted by Reuters, that US Intelligence assesses that Russia seeks to avoid a larger war with NATO. It also assesses that, as the last few years have shown, Russiaâs battlefield performance indicates it does not currently have the capability to conquer and occupy all of Ukraine, let alone Europe.
NEW: US intel shows Putinâs territorial ambitions remain unchanged âgoals that would likely undermine the current deal. The intel paints a starkly different picture of Putin than the one painted by US officials in recent months.

If you actually read it, the Trump (or should that be Witkoff-Dmitriev?) Peace Plan includes *significant* Russian concessions. So why is it being dismissed out of hand by the UK press and European political class?

I watched the entire press conference with Zelensky. There was 40 minutes of discussion up to the argument. Most people saw at most the last ten minutes. The whole video gives the proper context.
When I first watched the argument without the proper context, I thought it was possible that Trump and Vance ambushed Zelensky or were even trying to humiliate him. That's not what happened.
You had 40 minutes of calm conversation. Vance made a point that didn't attack Zelensky and wasn't even addressed to him, and Zelensky clearly started the argument.
In the first 40 minutes, Zelensky kept trying to go beyond what was negotiated in the deal. When Trump was asked a question, it was always "we'll see." Zelensky made blanket assertions that there would be no negotiating with Putin, and that Russia would pay for the war. When Trump said that it was a tragedy that people on both sides were dying, Zelensky interjected that the Russians were the invaders.
For his part, Trump made clear that the US would continue delivering military aid. All Zelensky had to do was remain calm for a few more minutes and they would've signed a deal.
The argument started when Trump pointed out that it would be hard to make a deal if you talk about Putin the way Zelensky does. Vance interjects to make the reasonable point that Biden called Putin names and that didn't get us anywhere.
The Zelensky/Trump dynamic was calm and stable. It was when Vance spoke that Zelensky started to interrogate him. Throughout the press conference to that point, everyone was making their arguments directly to the audience. Zelensky decided to challenge Vance and ask him hostile questions. He went back to his point that Putin never sticks to ceasefires, once again implying that negotiations are pointless. Why on earth would you do this? Then came the fight we all saw.
Zelensky was minutes away from being home free, and he would have had the deal and new commitments from the Trump administration. The point Vance made was directed against Biden and the media, taking them to task for speaking in moralistic terms. This offended Zelensky, and that began the argument.
I've been a fan of Zelensky up to this point, but this showed so much incompetence, if not emotional instability, that I don't see how he recovers from this. The relationship with the administration is broken. Ukraine should probably go with new leadership at this point.

Replying to @EmmanuelMacron
