$TAO vs. $NEAR chart did go for one more low from here and is now forming a double 3D bull div $NEAR has a bearish 1W divergence on the USD pair as well, so $TAO should see outperformance from here. Still enough time to convert your NEAR into Bittensor. No bias, just charts
Time to convert your $NEAR into $TAO has started now You have until blue diagonal breaks to do so

Let me tell you something. Anyone targeting a $1,000 or $1,200 top for $TAO this bull market is an idiot. I’ve been here since 2016, and I’ve never seen a hot coin peak at just 7x to 8x from its bear market low. At the very least, we’re talking 40x to 70x from the bottom before you can even start talking about a bull market top. I’m not making this up. Go check the charts of the hottest altcoins from previous bull runs yourself.

$TAO is still very much correlated with the rest of crypto, not AI. And I think that is going to change in 2027. Right now, the price of TAO is still largely driven by the same forces that move the rest of the crypto market. Bitcoin goes up, TAO follows. Bitcoin goes down, TAO follows. Meanwhile, the actual Bittensor ecosystem is developing at a pace that is increasingly disconnected from its market valuation. But something important is happening underneath the surface, and I believe it will fundamentally change how TAO is valued. The ecosystem is starting to generate meaningful revenue from outside of crypto, and more importantly, an increasing number of subnets are using that revenue to buy back and burn their Alpha tokens. This is where Bittensor is different compared to the rest of crypto. Because Alpha tokens are connected to TAO through their liquidity pools, demand for Alpha also creates demand for TAO. Every subnet that builds a successful business and uses (part of) its revenue for buybacks contributes to this mechanism. And the beauty of it is that this doesn't depend on attracting new crypto investors or convincing people to buy TAO because of hype and narrative like 99% of crypto. It depends on businesses and consumers paying for products they need in the real world. This is what I mean when I say Bittensor will start growing from the inside out. The ecosystem increasingly develops its own internal source of demand, funded by real economic activity. And we don't need all subnets to succeed for this to become significant. A handful of breakout subnets generating tens or even hundreds of millions in annual revenue could already make create significant demand. Now imagine what happens when that number keeps growing. That's why I expect 2027 to be the year we see a meaningful repricing of $TAO. Enough thoughts for this morning, enjoy your saturday. Oh and let me know what you think.

$NEAR made $2.2M in revenue last month which is $26M ARR Market cap is $7B SN51 lium made $1.4M in revenue last month which is $17M ARR Market cap is $180M $TAO is an ecosystem which has several subnets like lium earning millions in ARR and Bittensor as a whole has a total ARR of $50M+ Market cap is $3B What am I missing here?

Let me try to help you out here. First, to understand this better, it is important to understand that Bittensor is not a regular L1. For a regular L1, if a project built on top does really well, it doesn't necessarily create much value for the L1 itself other than additional transactions and fees. For $TAO that's different. TAO has a symbiotic relationship with Alpha, the subnet token. What that means in practice is that you cannot buy Alpha without going through TAO. They are economically connected through the liquidity pools. So when demand for a subnet's Alpha increases, more TAO gets pulled into that subnet's pool. It becomes even more interesting when the economic activity itself is used for buybacks. Let's say a subnet generates $1M in external revenue and uses $500K of that revenue to buy and burn Alpha. That $500K becomes direct buy pressure on Alpha, which through the TAO/Alpha pool creates demand for TAO and leaves more TAO inside that subnet's pool. So to answer your question directly: $1 of additional economic activity does NOT automatically equal $1 of demand for TAO. The amount that translates into TAO demand depends on how much of that economic activity flows back into Alpha. If 50% of revenue is used for Alpha buybacks, then $1 of revenue creates $0.50 of recurring economic demand flowing through the TAO/Alpha economy, in other words demand for TAO. And this is where breakout subnets become incredibly important. Imagine a subnet eventually doing $500M in annual revenue and using 50% for buybacks. That's $250M of annual buy pressure flowing into its Alpha token and therefore through TAO. Now imagine multiple subnets reaching that scale. In the long run, emissions alone aren't the value proposition. The real endgame is hundreds of independent businesses generating external revenue, with part of that revenue continuously flowing back into their subnet economies. So in short: if a subnet does well, creates real economic value and that value flows back into Alpha, it creates direct economic demand that ultimately flows through $TAO. That's the connection you're looking for. I hope this helps, feel free to ask questions and I'm always willing to jump on a call to figure out if we can work this out together.

We know a secret. But not for long.
#Bittensor subnets might genuinely be the most asymmetric investing opportunity in the world right now Valuations are tiny compared to the groundbreaking stuff some of them are achieving $TAO

Revenue > subnet token 'buybacks' > bigger prize for miners > fiercer miner competition > better AI product > more revenue .... Rinse. Repeat.
🚨 REVENUE IS NOW A 25-SUBNET STORY FOR $TAO Bittensor’s 25 revenue-generating subnets are producing $28M–$35M annually. @niftyinvest projects the total to surpass $100M by the end of 2026.

If you're reading this, use this info. $TAO subnets are the most undervalued part of the crypto industry. It is the only place in crypto where you find companies creating real world value and bringing in revenue at scale. Asymmetric opportunity. Worth the deep dive.

Reposting this from over a year ago, I was correct on one, and very very very very wrong on the rest.
The fall of Rome... What happens when other $TAO subnets overtake the #1 spot? (Sorry Chutes fans, it will happen one day...) But which subnets could possibly ever pull this off? I'm glad you asked. Here is how I see it, based on today's subnets. Nova (#68) - Obviously this one has some issues to iron out right now between the miners and the owners, but when they make a "hit," @metanova_labs will be golden. This will make any other subnet look like a lemonade stand. The question is when, not if. Celium (#51) - Unlike the permissionless compute subnets, this one is not only built to serve the internal subnets compute power, but to external (outside of Bittensor) applications and AI as well. Once more external organizations begin to leverage this (there is a small external customer base today, but by far more internally consumed within the ecosystem), in addition to the usage from internal subnets, @celiumcompute will fly. It's the AWS/Azure Compute on Bittensor. And there's a good reason it's in the #2 slot today. Quantum (#63) - It's polarizing - quantum computing is complicated. Is this subnet a revenue-generating business, or a science project disguised as hype? Their whitepaper includes a 3-phase roadmap. I don't believe their subnet is "off the charts" valuable until they achieve Phase 3, which doesn't even have a timeline yet. Read between the lines: we're years from this becoming reality. But when it does, if they achieve a truly decentralized means of operating, there's no reason @qBitTensor Quantum shouldn't fly right to the top of the list. ***Wildcard pick - Going with one of the less obvious ones (for now) - @nineteen_ai (#19)'s the only one of its kind - offering API access to the subnets for integration with other applications, AI systems, and services. As Bittensor grows, and more services/apps/etc are integrating with its subnets, Nineteen will only continue to grow exponentially. Frankly, I see the future of Bittensor's growth hinging on partnerships and integrations with external (non-Bittensor) services and systems. Nineteen already has some big names that use it for integration with subnets via the API. This could be a massive underdog subnet as Bittensor and the ecosystem achieves premier status among crypto and decentralized communities. So what's missing - what other subnets do you think could lock in that #1 market cap position?

$TAO will make 20% daily candles where we're going. 20% up, 10% down. Daily. This is why the bear market was the preparation for holders. Selling too early will be regrettable. Buying too late or chasing hype will be brutal. Conviction pays off

This is amazing. NEAR AI is now on a Bittensor subnet -- @say_gm_ -- which is our version of OpenRouter (done as a subnet). Bittensor is very synergistic with many of the other decentralized AI efforts afoot, not competitive. We're rowing in the same direction.
NEAR AI Cloud's confidential inference is now live on @say_gm_'s confidential tier. SayGm reaches dozens of models through one API key, and runs its own routing inside an Intel TDX enclave rather than on ordinary servers.

With privacy and security catching some tailwinds lately, including $ZEC privacy narrative and @_redteam_ SN61 getting some love, I am positioning to capitalize on the oncoming 'security season' mini narrative that seems to be staring us in the face. In Bittensor, I am looking at subnets that tie into these security, identity, privacy, and safety themes: @yanez__ai SN54 - Identity fraud for large financial institutions and speaking at Exploit at the end of the month @bitsecai SN60 - Code audit and security for smart contracts and other code solutions + recent appearance on TWIST with Jason C. @urnetwork SN25 - Privacy and VPN solutions with hundreds of thousands of active customers @trishoolai SN23 + @AureliusAligned SN37 - Alignment and safety subnets, designed to protect us from the "AI is going to kill humanity" scare
