In 1940, the Fair Labor Standards Act reduced the workweek to 40 hours. Today, as a result of huge advances in technology and productivity, now is the time to lower the workweek to 32 hours – with no loss in pay. Workers must benefit from advanced technology, not just the 1%.

Oh is it not easy? @GovWhitmer @MayorMikeDuggan @VoteMcFall @llondo, is there anything the state and cities can do to help (make) @DTE_Energy do the right thing, easy or not?
We do appreciate the suggestion. Putting the lines underground isn't always the easiest or foolproof solution. Check out this link to learn more: empoweringmichigan.com/not-b…

Great example of how whiteness functions as ideology. The idea that Musk is “inventing civilization’s future” is detached from reality & rooted in white supremacist colonial fantasy
Why would commercializing space be a good thing

ALT Neil degrades Tyson tweet: While casting shade on @elonmusk for what he’s done, is doing, or will do, try to pause & remember that he made electric cars a normal thing in society and he commercialized space — for cargo, satellites, & people. Count him among those who are inventing civilization’s future.

Minnesota cops said they cannot accept a potential ban on white supremacist affiliation in POST certified officer ranks, cuz it will hurt recruitment. Please let that sink into your every consideration of each and every city/police budget conversation.

It's time we ban assault weapons so our kids learn to read and write in schools instead of learning to duck and cover.

The political establishment acknowledges the Republican Party is influencing terrorism (conspiracy theories), enabling terrorism (guns) & even orchestrated a terrorist attack (Jan 6.) Then they carry on as usual with “bipartisan compromises” & tell us to simply vote again

In Michigan, there’s a ballot amendment that would affirm every person’s fundamental right to reproductive freedom. We need to fight to get it on the ballot this November. Chip in if you can to support @MIReproFreedom: ewar.ren/6ca

Interesting the Catholic church only started being against abortion in the 1860s, right after the Emancipation Proclamation. I'm just so curious where this moral stance against abortion was before then- because it wasn't in the bible.

The Buffalo shooter: “White birth rates must change…people must achieve a birth rate…that is about 2.06 births per woman.”
SCOTUS: “the domestic supply of infants relinquished at birth or within the first month of life…had become virtually nonexistent.”

America is not “deeply divided.” The overwhelming majority of people keep voting in favor of progressive policies only to be ignored & overruled by the white wealthy interests that run our govt & the base of rabid racists they empower to help uphold the oppressive status quo
