To clarify: * I get peak/ off peak * I get supply & demand (I did A level economics) * My point is there are plenty of lower income workers who have to go to London for work, they'd be paying a huge % of their earnings on travel, which seems unfair
The biggest con in Britain: train ticket prices. My local station at 0715 to Waterloo (return): Sunday £14.40 Monday £21.20 The exact same journey, at the same time. Because everyone travelling at this time midweek MUST be working in the City earning £200k, not

If you're listening to @talkSPORT2 this is what we're talking about. The tv crew seem to have given up hope of getting any real play, so are filming their own net session instead!!!

Ahhhhh! Not great news
Standing umpires Richard Illingworth and Arno Jacobs + (reserve) 4th umpire Evan van der Merwe trudge around sodden St.George’s Park outfield. It’s not going to dry out. Fear a washout looming. Or mud-out…

Watching Saints v Cardiff - so many players in elongated rucks have their knee on the floor. That means the ball is out, go after it boys!!

I think this is a great defensive play. * He doesn't kick the ball out - he uses his leg to block the ball (that's not kicking it) * There are people who say that he shouldn't do anything post tackle as he's on the floor = out of the game. Not sure if that's what that law is for

That's a thing of beauty from @SaleSharksRugby. Everyone knows they're mauling that lineout ... except they're not

Fairly significant this - as so many people usually get the train to the matches. Check out your options people!
Supporter travel update ⚠️ Supporters are advised to plan their journey in advance of travelling to The Stoop on Sunday as Twickenham Station will be closed due to maintenance work taking place on lines surrounding the Twickenham area. ℹ️ quins.co.uk/Article/travel-i… #COYQ

When you hear people saying the Prem attacking style doesn't work at International level - show them the first 40 of this match. The NZ attack was sensational

Bears can confirm the return of Alisha Joyce on a short-term deal for this weekend’s JAECOO Next Gen Cup clash with Harlequins. The experienced back-row forward returns to the club for a one-game stint, providing valuable cover in the pack for this weekend’s fixture.

Please remind me never to post anything as controversial as comparing first games of a World Cup again. Boy there are some angry people out there. Peace and love everyone xx
Interesting that the Rugby League World Cup has got under way with Aus v NZ ... whereas next years Union version will start with Aus v Hong Kong. The League game is in the balance with 16mins to play ... I fear the Union game will be done with less than 16mins played

What the .........
Fair play to anyone who predicted a Woki-Tameifuna second row partnership for Bordeaux at Kingsholm tomorrow night Jalibert still out - and limped out of training today - so Maxime Lucu moves to scrum-half Going to be a real test for the champs against an in-form Gloucester

It ends a 2pt game, with it going right to the final play - and the stadium absolutely rocking

Is there a sports sponsorship in tv sport that's paid back more than the "Harvey Norman replay" in Aussie broadcasting? I was tempted to do one in homage during the Lions tour last year!!
