8K for TV is not useful metric. If you have 65" TV, sitting at 1.3m the eye can't distinguish 8K and 4K because of eye's resolution. You are sitting even further, so there is zero benefit in 8K. What TV (and monitor) manufacturers should do is provide screen width/height in mm

You are assuming to use the entire FoV of 70deg or 100deg for movie... Sitting in the front row in cinema is already 70 degrees. You are likely sitting in the middle, around 50deg. There Meta has slight advantage in PPD compared to AVP
