🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting from parents in Maine after public schools are now RECONSIDERING allowing kids to READ WITH FOSTER DOGS...
...over the RELIGIOUS BELIEFS of Muslims who believe dogs are "unclean"
Yes, a program where kids sit with puppies and read books is now being reviewed because of Islam.
It started at Ocean Avenue Elementary.
Students were offered the chance to step into a play pen and read alongside foster dogs.
The thought was simple: the kids get to snuggle dogs and the foster dogs... but then came a Portland school committee meeting.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. "Abdullahi Ahmed" raised how dogs are viewed in the Islamic faith.
His words: “The dog saliva is considered impure.”
Now the board is writing new policy language built around RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL considerations that could keep dogs out of the classroom all together.
This is insane.

JUST IN: In a Muslim Brotherhood-style election fraud incident, a poll worker in Dearborn, Michigan, speaking in Arabic, tells an undercover reporter that he can vote in a U.S. Senate election despite saying he is not a U.S. citizen.
“Only for U.S. President can’t you vote, but for the others, you can.”
Under 18 U.S.C. § 611, noncitizens are prohibited from voting in federal elections, including U.S. Senate races, subject to narrow exceptions.

Why hypertokenization?
While we can think of dozens of reasons, the two that really matter:
1. Capital efficiency: It's simply more efficient to own a part of something than the whole
2. Value discovery: There is no better way to discover the most important parts of an asset than letting the market decide. Price reflects demand, which reflects value
We truly believe hypertokenization is the next phase in crypto's core value proposition
Nowhere else can you break down an asset into its constituents and give the market the freedom to price them
Everything we're building here is designed to bring hypertokenization to the masses

My coworker's son, Riku, didn't leave his bedroom for three years.
In Japan, there's a word for it. Hikikomori. The government estimates there are about 1.5 million of them. People who close a door one day and don't open it again.
Riku failed his university entrance exams twice. After the second time, at eighteen, he went into his room. His mother left meals outside the door. Some days the tray came back empty. Some days it didn't.
The only thing he did was play an online fishing game. Every evening. Alone.
Until one evening, someone on the lake sent him a message.
"any luck -L"
L was Lyle. 78. A retired machinist from Tennessee. His wife had passed. He said he couldn't sleep, so he fished.
He typed like a man carving letters into a headstone. All lowercase. No punctuation. And he signed every message, like a letter.
"bass arent biting. same as real life -L"
That first month, Riku told him only one true thing:
"I don't go outside."
Lyle took a full day to answer.
"ok. well. we can fish -L"
So they fished. Every evening. Same lake. They caught almost nothing.
Then one night, Lyle asked a question.
"did you open the curtain today -L"
Riku hadn't. The next night, Lyle asked again. And the next.
On the ninth night, Riku opened the curtain.
"good. thats it. thats the whole job -L"
After that, one question a night. Never two.
"did you eat breakfast -L"
"did you open the window -L"
"did you go to the mailbox -L"
"did you walk to the corner -L"
Riku's mother copied the messages into a notebook. She still keeps it by her bed. Some pages:
"you dont have to feel better to get up. you get up then you feel a little better. thats the order -L"
"a bad day is not a bad life -L"
"nobody is behind. youre just on a different mile -L"
"if all you did today was get through it that counts. im counting -L"
In the eleventh month, Riku asked him why he cared about a stranger in Japan.
Lyle took two days to answer.
"1969 i came home from vietnam. didnt leave my room for a year. my mother left plates by the door too. i know about the door -L"
Then:
"curtain first. always curtain first -L"
In the twelfth month, Riku walked to the convenience store. Three hundred meters. He bought a can of coffee and sent Lyle a picture.
Lyle answered in eleven seconds. Riku had never seen him type that fast.
"ATTABOY -L"
The only capital letters Lyle ever typed.
A week later, a message came from Lyle's daughter.
"Please don't tell Dad I told you. He doesn't have insomnia. He never did. For over a year, he set his alarm for 3:45 every morning so he'd be on that lake when you were. He said a boy in Japan needed somebody on the lake."
Riku is 23 now. He works at a bicycle shop. He goes outside every day.
Last summer, he flew to Tennessee. Lyle picked him up in a truck older than Riku, and they went fishing on a real lake.
They caught nothing.
Lyle said it was the best day of fishing he ever had.
Riku still plays that game. Every evening, he goes back to the same lake and looks for anyone who says they don't go outside.
When he finds one, he types:
"did you open the curtain today -R"
So if you're reading this from a room you haven't left in a while, I don't know you. But I know what Lyle would ask.
did you open the curtain today

Elon Musk took a $40,000 username from a guy who had owned it for 16 years.
He paid him absolutely nothing.

receives offers of up to $40,000 for the handle
But he refuses to sell

- hackers steal his x account
- Twitter helps him recover it
July 23, 2023

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in Georgia after an HOA began fining a young family $25 PER DAY for GROWING VEGETABLES in their own yard to FEED THEIR KIDS...
...the family is now being charged $750 because the HOA said the vegetables were "unsightly" and they refused to remove them
Yes, they planted peppers in their OWN FRONT YARD and their HOA is charging $25/day until it’s gone.
Their names are Alex Duarte and Shawn Richardson, and they live in Acworth, Georgia.
They grow peppers, tomatoes, habaneros, and herbs in trough gardens out front because in Alex's words,
“We don’t have a lot of money. The economy’s really tight right now.”
In June, the HOA’s community manager sent a notice telling them to remove the garden.
So Alex Duarte asked what she could do.
She offered to paint the beds ANY COLOR the board chose.
She offered a wood surround.
A brick surround.
A rock surround.
Anything to keep her garden.
At an appeal meeting she recorded, the board said it had gotten FOUR complaints of "unsightly yard".
So Alex asked them to define what was unsightly so they could reach a resolution.
The answer: it’s not aesthetically pleasing.
What about it?
“All of it. It's all got to go."
...then on September 28th, the fines started.
$25 a day.
By a week before Halloween, the balance was approaching $750.
So the family filed a complaint with the Secretary of State... but the meter keeps running.
They can’t even put a sign in their yard.
So they put up a Halloween tombstone for their garden instead.
Alex’s words: “I don’t wanna lose one of the ways I feed my family because three people decided that they didn’t like my yard.”

Altcoins don’t break out against Bitcoin overnight.
Historically, the strongest moves come after momentum has been established, the bull market support band has been reclaimed, and price has spent months consolidating, repeatedly testing resistance.
This phase is designed to test patience. The uncertainty, frustration, and exhaustion are all part of the process.
Euphoria comes after the breakout, not before it.
Until then, the greatest advantage isn’t predicting what happens next. It’s managing uncertainty, preserving conviction, and remaining disciplined when the market gives you every reason to doubt.

okay Monday morning, US election week.
Let me get this straight:
- grocery stores throughout Europe have had their fridges turned up to 100+ degrees by unknown hackers
- aka exactly what a sophisticated actor would do if they wanted to disrupt US east coast food supply next week
- US military bases already had essentially the same thing happen last week
- founder of Shopify tweets there’s a TCP vulnerability that basically makes every server on earth that’s not a managed service completely remotely controllable
- a nontechnical 26 year old hacked several major banks using only chatbots
- billions of dollars successfully stolen from different exchanges in several countries, notably most of that was $6.3b from binance in just 20 minutes. They’re “fine” per the CEO. Okay lol
- random civilian private jet crashes a few miles outside trumps house yesterday, right as Tucker Carlson of all people warns us Trump might be considering using nukes
- US Senator who warned about the same thing recently “had a stroke” over the weekend, alright sure
- bibi lost his majority so his only chance to stay in power is for a new war to begin
- Poland currently in constitutional crisis/coup, both it and Lithuania just sent troops to the border w/Russia. NATO did the same in Latvia. Turkey moved fighter jets to the border too.
- Germany’s leaders phones all hacked
- openai and Anthropic are going to release gpt-6.2 and fable 5.5 after elections this week because somehow more capable models will help? lol no
- many streets in downtown DC is shut down right now for a speech today outside the Lincoln memorial?
- DOJ trying to pull ballots in California
- documentaries openly critical of Elon & Zuck are BOTH pulled from theaters in just weeks because nobody knew about them and went to saw them. Not suspicious at all.
- oh and Russia and Ukraine both had their nuclear alerts hacked and sent false alerts of “impending air raids, chemical, and nuclear attacks” what could go wrong!
Unbelievably, there is not a hint of any of this on my Facebook, insta, tiktok, reddit, threads, blue sky, or LinkedIn feeds. You can ask any ai except chat about it and it goes, no yeah that’s about right. ChatGPT goes “you’re not allowed to ask about this”
I can’t decide if that’s a very good thing and we finally figured out the emotional and psychological dangers of social media algorithms (except elon 🙄) OR it’s actually really bad people are voting in the dark
What a strange moment in time. And I’m supposed to send emails today?! For sure

Val Kilmer wanted the role of Jim Morrison so badly he spent thousands of his own dollars on an eight-minute audition tape. In it, he slipped between the different versions of the Lizard King—young and wild, later and heavier—singing and reading poetry until Oliver Stone had no choice but to pay attention.
He wasn’t even a big Doors fan at first, beyond the radio hits. So he taught himself roughly fifty songs by heart.
Fifteen of them ended up in the movie, and he sang nearly all the vocals himself. When the real band members listened, they sometimes couldn’t tell Kilmer’s voice from Morrison’s.
For nearly a year before cameras rolled, he lived it. He studied every scrap of footage, practiced the stage prowl (even getting tips from Paula Abdul), and absorbed endless stories from producer Paul Rothchild.
He wore the tight leather pants until they were properly gamey. Special contact lenses dilated his pupils so he always looked a little stoned—and made his balance unsteady, which helped the performance along.
Before filming began, more than a hundred people gathered around a campfire on a Malibu beach. They threw herbs into the flames, circled, and retraced Morrison’s steps in a kind of purification ritual.
Kilmer, hair already dyed and permed into the right shaggy shape, walked with them.
On set he rarely dropped character. The schedule was brutal, Stone wanted the mood, and Kilmer had already decided he was mostly playing a poet who happened to be a rock star.
Clothes stayed unwashed. People got called by their character names. When it was over, he needed therapy to climb back out of the role.
Years later, fans still sometimes tattooed Kilmer’s face thinking it was Morrison. He took it as the highest compliment.
The man who once said the leather pants probably killed Morrison had spent a year breathing in them anyway; and made the rest of us believe, for a couple of hours, that the Lizard King had stepped back into the light 🎶🎤🎸
