I hosted this small event in SF yesterday on behalf of @swytchcode to explore and learn about AI agents and their use in Fintech engineering.
#1 the number 1 concern is Hallucinations, contrary to popular Xitter folks this is a big concern for Fintech engineering teams and leadership. They can't ship prototypes to production.
#2 Bullish on Agentic commerce and payments, this is future.
#3 people use many agents internally, they build tools to solve their problem but less than 5% can be used across the org and has to go through engineering team.
#4 shipping production ready agents has become part of SDLC but Fintech engineering teams are very cautious about it, most of it is for internal use.
