You know, when you think about it, Kenya has very good tech brains. If the government provided a conducive environment, and gave China-style subsidies, we could expand hardware manufacturing. Phones, electric bikes/cars, IoT modules... We'd only need to import chips.

I think this is just a regular update to a standing advisory, except they added Ebola to the list of reasons why their people should reconsider travel. The rest of the stuff is standard in these parts.
El Niño is not like a child you send to the shop to buy bread and you can calculate almost precisely when he'll come back home. Okay... El Niño literally means "The Boy" or "the child" but that's beside the point. Still, this El Niño has been pathetic so far.
My conclusion is that certain individuals in Government created the false El Niño forecast to enable the plunder of public funds in the name of road construction and repairs in Nairobi through an emergency fund.
How else do explain why heavy rains forecasted for July, 2026 are yet to arrive in October, 2026? Further, why are there no similar projects outside Nairobi?
