The pace of progress of AI in healthcare is mind boggling. The health sector is going to see a massive disruption within the next few years. For starters, the EMR as we know it today will be history, replaced by an AI medical record.
Patients are going to be a lot more empowered than they are now. And a part of the decision making, especially in primary care, radiology, dermatology and some other specialties is going to be machine led.
In India, the Medical community will fight tooth and nail and resist any introduction of AI into decision making, but change is coming and it is coming fast. They can adapt or be left behind in 5 years. Mark this post. #Healthcare #AI #AIinHealthcare #MEDTwitter
