July 4th was 10 yrs since Anthony Nuñez was shot & killed by San Jose Police. He was 18 yrs old & had a mental health crisis. His cousin called for help & SJPD shot Anthony within 3 min of arriving. Over the last decade his family has uplifted & fought for Anthony’s name & story.

If you have a loved one that’s in jail because they couldn’t afford the bail, they have a new way to push for their release! A new CA Supreme Court case called “Kowalczyk” says judges can’t detain ppl on unattainable bail! Push the attorney to advocate for their release!✊🏾💪🏾

Sometimes at our weekly ACJP participatory defense mtgs at De-Bug, the victories are especially moving. This is a movement that will free our people. Slow-cooking, when no one’s looking, a consistent drumbeat marching forward when the world expects resignation - type movement.
