The explanation being stella didn’t want lando to just apologize for the sake of it he wanted him to understand why they felt it was unnecessary but like alright couple things here 1) your first matter of action being publicly insinuating your driver will just tell you what you want to hear, I’ve been following Lando for years, that says more about the leadership in place to me if that’s what they expected 2) I can understand from a teams perspective why it was unnecessary because the points remain the same but they let them race, sometimes racing incidents happen so for them to then be aghast and act like it was a planned attack was some insane projection on their part and frankly, stella should be embarrassed with how he acted 3) they must’ve realized they need lando at his best if they do want third place, and maybe they actually took note of what everyone was saying about their reaction, mainly that it was massively projection on their end because the reality is, they’re in this situation in the constructors because of themselves and their shortcomings as a team on multiple fronts And part of me even gets it, emotions are high, and he was an easy target to throw the blame on, but if that’s who is running this team…stella is undoubtedly useful for a lot of reasons and he’s a very intelligent person, but I have been banging this drum for three years that he is not the best option to lead
