Love this quote: “If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don’t have to worry about the answers” Thomas Pynchon
What are the challenging questions we want our next generation to ask and pursue that might lead to a better world...?

Researchers have found microplastics in cloud water for the first time.
Microplastics could act as cloud condensation nuclei, tiny particles on which water vapor condenses to form clouds. This could lead to more plastic rainfall and rapid cloud formation.

Both images are taken at the same location,📍The Rohtang Pass 🏔
The first image is taken just a month ago when the Rohtang pass was not open to tourists.
The second image is from a couple of days before when Pass is open for tourists.
If you are going to mountains, carry your own trash with yourself.
Please be a responsible tourist 🙏🙏

Been tagged in a thread that I will not be replying to but will leave Toni Morrison's words here. "The function, the very serious function of racism is distraction. It keeps you from doing your work. It keeps you explaining, over and over again, your reason for being."

3. Teachers are not lazy.
Routinely they work evenings, weekends, holidays, worked throughout various lockdowns and also support/supported families from their own pockets. At the heart of everything every teacher I know (in 27 years) is care and love for children.

"Music should be improvisatory and active. Everybody should make music."
Schools rarely encourage this. Many schools have NEVER done this. Parents must demand music and arts in the core curriculum. Singing, percussion and tuned instruments. #creativity

Hi, I'm a nurse at the JR. I'm trying to find a classical musician that might volunteer an hour to play for an end of life patient at the John Radcliffe Hospital, or recommendations for organisations that might offer this. Thanks

A view from somewhere, or a locus of enunciation, is important because "making them visible also makes it possible to underline that epistemology is not just a happy universal spaces which everybody can join." (Mignolo, 2009)

Remembering our friend and colleague, Liam O'Connor, who sadly passed away on 1st February. Liam's contribution to Irish archaeology will never be forgotten. He worked on the excavations at Knowth and discovered the masterpiece of Neolithic portable art - the Knowth Macehead

The carved out colonial borders and made us divided, they created our education system and made us miseducated, they took away our knowledge of self and made us dependent. The African holocaust is not only physical, it’s also mental.
