The best thing about my running journey is how I connect with people, and how they connect with me. And yes, dogs are a part of this journey too.🫶 #sufiyasufirunner #5000km #kanyakumaritokarakoramrun

After completing a 5,000 km run from Kanyakumari to Karakoram last month, I had only one thought in my mind: either this race would be my worst performance or I would smash my previous record. The body was not fully recovered after those massive miles across India. My medical advisor, physio, coach, and even my husband asked me not to go for the race. But my mind was struck by this. I promised them that I would go easy and yes, I was easy throughout the run. But the human body is a miracle. Mind and muscle memories played well. I didn't feel any exhaustion throughout the race. Did not push myself at all. Just ran in flow and got the best performance. Broke my previous record of this race by more than 1 and a half hour and secured the 2nd position. Also, my team told me that now I am the first non-Ladakh runner ever to get the podium positions in three consecutive years in SRU. #runnergirl #ladakhmarathon #silkrouteultra122km

You simply can’t ignore the beauty of Wari La when you’re running here.🏔️🏃🏻‍♀️ This is one of the places where I have spent a big part of my training in Ladakh, whether for my own running challenges or the Silk Route Ultra Race. Wari La Pass has always been one of my favourite places to run.🫶 There is something truly special about this place. The beauty makes you want to stop for a moment, take it all in, and simply admire the mountains around you.❤️🙌 #warilapass #ladakh #running #greatful

Happy Birthday, Michael Jackson. 🤍 Today, I just want to say thank you.🫶 Thank you for inspiring me, inspiring generations, and showing the world that being great is not only about success, fame or achievements. True greatness is about how many lives you touch, how many people you help, and how much goodness you leave behind. During my 5,000 km run from Kanyakumari to Karakoram, I watched your movie and something inside me changed. I became a big fan of yours, but more than your music and your incredible talent, it was your journey, your hard work, your kindness and your love for humanity that touched my heart and soul deeply. You taught me that there is nothing bigger than humanity. Personal achievements can make us successful, but it is the impact we have on people’s lives that truly makes us unforgettable. Helping someone, giving hope, inspiring people to become better and spreading kindness, these are the things that give real meaning to our lives. Maybe that is why you became one of the most loved stars the world has ever seen. Your talent made you a legend, but your heart and your love for people made you Michael Jackson. 🤍 I am deeply inspired by you and I try, in my own small way, to follow the path of inspiring people and doing something good for humanity. I believe that one day, our achievements may be forgotten, but the love we give and the lives we change will always remain. Sometimes I wish I could have met you just to tell you how much you inspired me. To tell you that somewhere in this world, during a 5,000 km journey, a runner watched your story and found inspiration not just to run, but to become a better human being. And today, I feel so happy that I share my birthday month with you. It feels special. ❤️ Thank you, Michael, for everything you gave to the world. You may not be here today, but your music, your message, your kindness and your inspiration will continue to live in millions of hearts forever. May your soul rest in peace. You will always be remembered not only for being the greatest entertainer, but for the love and humanity you tried to spread through your life. 😇 #michaeljackson

Five Guinness World Records behind me &the sixth one is still in the making. But when I look back at my journey, I realise I was never really chasing records. I was chasing my own identity. I never wanted to chase races just to prove that I could be better than someone else. I never wanted to compete with anyone. My only competition has always been with the person I was yesterday. From my first 3 km run to thousands of kilometres across India, every run has taught me something about endurance, patience, discipline, pain and life. I always wanted to create my own league,a journey where people can discover their own strength, push their own limits and learn life lessons along the way. My real motive has always been bigger than running or records. I want to inspire people across the world to live a better life. If my journey can make someone believe in themselves, take the first step, become healthier, overcome their fears or make even a small positive change in their life, that is my biggest achievement. Five records are now part of my story. The sixth is being written and looking for more 🙌🏼 But records are just numbers. The real achievement is the impact we leave behind. I am not here to be better than anyone. I am here to become better than I was yesterday. And if my journey helps even one person change their life for the better, I know I am running in the right direction. These world records belongs to every person who believed in me , ran with me, supported me, prayed for me & cheered from the roadside.🫶 That’s me. That’s my journey. And I am still running.🏃🏻‍♀️ #runnergirl #sufirunner #myjourney

Every activity you see in this photo is a day, a road, a struggle and a decision to keep going. Everyday was sweat, pain, exhaustion, heat, rain, long hours on the road and many moments when stopping would have been the easier choice. Some days my body was strong. Some days it wasn’t. Some days I ran with confidence and some days I simply told myself to just keep moving. But every single day added another kilometres to the challenge. From the shores of Kanyakumari to the mighty Karakoram, I crossed states, cities, highways, mountains and my own limits. 86 days. 5,000 kilometres. Looking at these numbers now, I realise that this Run was never about one big moment. It was about thousands of small decisions to not give up. #runacrossindia #kanyakumaritokarakoram #runnergirl

We DID IT. From Kanyakumari to the mighty Karakoram, 5,000 km of consistency, pain, patience, and pure determination. And it took 86 days. 2 hours. Today, I proudly become the first human ever to run from Kanyakumari to Karakoram. This was never just a run. It was my tribute to our brave soldiers, and to everyone who believed in me when the road felt impossible. This one is for you 🇮🇳 #RunAcrossIndia #kanyakumaritokarakoram #runfordreams

Feeling incredibly grateful and humbled to become the first human to run from Kanyakumari to Karakoram. 🇮🇳 It feels surreal to create history by reaching the mighty Karakoram Pass at 18,000 ft after an unforgettable journey across India. 🏔️🏃🏻‍♀️ Successfully completed the Kanyakumari to Karakoram Run 5,000 km in 86 days and 2 hours. One unforgettable journey across India, completed at the mighty Karakoram Pass. 🇮🇳 A special thank you to the Indian Army for your incredible support, guidance, and for granting the necessary permissions. Without your support, reaching Karakoram Pass and making this historic journey possible would not have been imaginable. I am deeply grateful for everything you have done. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone for all your love, prayers, and unwavering support. 🙏🏼🫶 #KanyakumariToKarakoramRun

4167 km and 68 days, 23 hours and the new world record. This is what my Kanyakumari to Kashmir World Record Run looks like with consistency and self belief. This was never just about breaking a record. It was about discovering how far belief, discipline, and consistency can take me. Not a single day break in those 70 days and so far when I am heading towards the Mighty Karakoram. The world record will always be special, but continuing beyond it to the Karakoram Pass making this run unforgettable. See you soon from The Mighty Karakoram. #runacrossIndia #KanyakumaritoKarakoram
