I've missed Devcon twice
This year, I don't want to just attend.
I want to find the builders, hackers, creators and weird experiments happening around Devcon the stories that don't make it onto the main stage.
So I made this, showing up publicly and creating
See you in Mumbai โ at New Delhi, India

Taiwan's 1st digital minister. @torproject's co-founder. @0xPolygon's co-founder. @ethereum's co-founder.
@audreyt, @RogerDingledine, @sandeepnailwal & @VitalikButerin are all speaking at Devcon 8, with new names added every day.

๐ THE SCHEDULE IS LIVE! ๐ฎ๐ณ
Weโre excited to announce the schedule for the Resilient Networking Hub @ @EFDevcon 8 Mumbai.
๐ Explore the full schedule: libp2p.tech/schedule
From November 3โ6, we are bringing together protocol researchers, open-source maintainers, builders, security practitioners, and the decentralized infrastructure community to explore what it takes to build a more resilient internet.
๐ ๏ธ Whatโs happening at the Hub?
๐ Build resilient networks from the ground up with libp2p, peer identity, discovery, transports, and secure connections.
๐ค Explore the Internet of Agents through verifiable agent actions, trustworthy receipts, AI inference evidence, and open observability standards.
๐ Dive into protocol and cryptographic resilience, including post-quantum P2P migration, formal verification, Lean, zero-knowledge proofs, and privacy measurements.
๐ฆ Build with decentralized storage through @IPFS, Helia, Kubo, self-hosted infrastructure, and hands-on workshops with real-world applications.
๐ Discover decentralized infrastructure in practice with the @ethswarm ecosystem, decentralized publishing, streaming, collaborative editing, and permanent archives.
๐ฌ Join the discussions that shape what comes next from network trust, failure and recovery to @Ethereum protocol resilience, public goods, and sustainable infrastructure.
โก Expect hands-on workshops, research sessions, live demos, maintainer meetups, roundtables, and plenty of opportunities to meet the people building and maintaining the infrastructure we all depend on.
This is an invitation to participate, not just attend.
Whether you are a student exploring P2P networking for the first time, a researcher investigating protocol resilience, a maintainer looking to collaborate, or a builder working on decentralized applications and agentic systems, weโd love to welcome you.
Come share your work, bring your questions, meet fellow contributors, and help us experiment with more resilient, open, and verifiable infrastructure.
A big thank-you to all the speakers, maintainers, researchers, ecosystem partners, and volunteers helping bring this community together. Also, special thanks to friends from @EFDevcon team, @satyaki44 and @OrnellaWeb3.

November 3โ6 | Devcon 8 Mumbai
๐ libp2p Expedition: October 31โNovember 8
๐ Full schedule: libp2p.tech/schedule
๐ค Join us at the Resilient Networking Hub. Letโs build, learn, and make the internet more resilient, together!
13 days to go for @EFDevcon
- The more I research Devcon 8 speakers, the more I realize that preparing for a conference isn't just about deciding which talks to attend
- The goal isn't just to know who's speaking
- I want to understand their work, find the questions worth asking, and share what I learn with people who can't be there
- My first deep dive is on @RogerDingledine , @torproject , and @ethereum network privacy gap
Who else should I research before Devcon 8?
Devcon beyond the talks and the hype?
I'm starting with the people behind the ideas.
My first @EFDevcon8 speaker research story, I went down a rabbit hole exploring Roger Dingledine, Tor, and a privacy question Ethereum builders can't afford to ignore

Itโs always valuable to meet quality folks IRL before Devcon
In this coworking workshop, we had an amazing mix of:
- Security researchers & devs
- AI researchers & devs
- Web3 builders
- Marketers & community managers
- Content creators
Together we brainstormed ideas, market conditions, and opportunities with everyone sharing their unique experiences
Big thanks to @smilewithkhushi & @0xShubh4m for hosting this coworking session ๐
so me & @0xshubh4m hosted "coffee, cookies & coworking" v1 this saturday
see these smiling faces, meeting these good folks was such a delight.
quality convos over quantity anyday >>>>
thanks to everyone who showed up <3
I've got 20 days until Devcon...
So I'm starting my prep today which is not just about packing or logistics
Iโm really diving deep...
- Researching the speakers
- Understanding the projects
- Following the latest updates
- Seeing what people are actually building
- Writing down all my questions
I donโt just want to show up at Devcon...
I want to know whatโs going on there
Talk to the builders,
Ask better questions,
Share what I learn.....
So, Iโll be documenting my prep for the next 20 days
And if youโre a speaker, developer, builder, project, creator, student, or anyone involved in the Ethereum ecosystem....
say hi in comments ๐
Letโs connect and start the journey before Devcon
So we donโt have to awkwardly introduce ourselves or blank out when we meet IRL ๐
I'm finally back here after all this time....

I didn't expect this to become a 10 month journey
From first hearing about Fhenix
- trying to understand CoFHE
- building with encrypted computation
- and nowโฆ
finally reached a moment Iโve been waiting for
I decrypted the Fhenix Mainnet date

And now, we're here
10 months after first hearing about Fhenixโฆ
After learning
Creating
Experimenting
Building
And spending way too much time debugging encrypted transactions
just decrypted the Fhenix Mainnet date
Looking back,it's pretty crazy to see how far that first
7/7
And honestly?
I don't think this is the end of the journey
It's the point where the things we've been experimenting with can start becoming real applications
I got the date๐
Now decrypt it yourself

What did you get?
