Our Tool of the Week is Tor VPN Beta by @torproject.
Built from scratch for Android, it routes selected apps through separate Tor circuits—hiding users’ IP addresses, separating their activity and helping them bypass censorship.
The project is still in beta and invites community testing and feedback.

Why donate?
The Tor network is an invaluable tool for journalists, activists, vulnerable individuals, and everyday privacy seekers looking to bypass censorship and avoid tracking on the internet.
While the Tor Project itself develops the software and operates valuable infrastructure, its privacy-preserving network relies on a huge network of independent, community volunteer-run relay servers to carry that traffic.
Unredacted, Emerald Onion, and Triplebit are three organizations among many who are operating high-capacity privacy-focused infrastructure for the public good.
All three projects run their own hardware and own their own IP addresses and networks, which is a significant expense over VPS hosting in the name of improved privacy, and requires extraordinary support from their donors to continue operating 😊
