🧰 If you're not using the PlePer Chrome extension for local SEO audits… you're working too hard. @StefanSomborac shared a killer walkthrough on the Local Search Forum that reveals just how much gold is hidden in the PlePer panel on Google Maps—and most people miss it completely.  TL;DR: 📌 Instant access to Name, Address, Phone, Website (NAP+W) 📌 Ratings, review count, verification status 📌 Clickable links to PageSpeed, Schema Validator, WHOIS, and more 📌 One-click access to Place ID, CID, Prolist, and a ready-to-share review link 💡 Right-click the map pin to grab the CID URL in seconds. It’s simple, fast, and incredibly useful. Stefan’s full breakdown is worth the read: localsearchforum.com/threads…

The Quran burner has been shot dead in Sweden during a TikTok live. Lillahe Taqbir. Lillahe Taqbir.
‼️ BREAKING: The organizer of Quran-burning protests shot dead at his home in Sweden during live-streaming on TikTok Salwan Momika's body was found in a house in a Stockholm suburb with gunshot wounds, reports SVT. On Thursday, Momika was supposed to hear the verdict in a case involving incitement to racial hatred. The Stockholm District Court postponed the sentencing, as "one of the defendants has died." Police have not yet confirmed the man's identity. SVT writes that Swedish intelligence services have been involved in the investigation. The publication GP reports that Momika was live-streaming on TikTok at the time of the shooting, which was later interrupted by a police officer. Momika gained notoriety for his protests, during which he burned the Quran as a demonstration against Islam. In the summer of 2023, he publicly burned a Quran in the center of the capital, sparking mass protests in Iraq—protesters even stormed the Swedish embassy. In his hometown of Al-Kufa, a bounty of $2 million and a golden Quran has been placed on his head.

Most SEO gurus would keep this a secret. Or they would charge $500/hr for this….👇 I have created a FREE Custom ChatGPT.. That does Content Helpfulness Analysis but on Steroids. No need to pay for ChatGPT Plus, as I am giving away the prompts too. Here’s How my GPT works: 1. In GSC, select your posts that have lost traffic. 2. Submit these URLs to my GPT for analysis. It will then give you a score on Helpfulness & EEAT of your content… Along with bullet pointers on how you can improve it. Want this FREE GPT? ✅ 1. Like & Retweet 2. Comment "SEO" - & I will DM you the link!

I removed all ads from this site and organic visibility exploded 113%. Is this the end of ads monetised websites? I’ve set up a single-variable test a few weeks ago. Remove all ads from the website, without doing anything else: ▪ No link building ▪ No content change ▪ No tech SEO change Then wait for a few weeks. The initial results are in. The website experienced a massive boost in positions for all important keywords, as seen in the images. Next steps: ✅  Full UI revamp ✅  Content pruning ✅  Topical authority sculpting ✅  Relentless Digital PR link building This website was once the leading tax calculator website in the UK. Then, the Search Intelligence miracle happened and I’ve had to focus on the agency operations - I’ve abandoned the site. Now it’s time to play with it and see if we can get it back and take the throne. The next update is coming soon, I’ll be fully transparent with this one - as usual 🙌 #seo

🥳 Proximity is no longer a ranking factor for LSAs. Here's why this is good news... @CPBarnard was the first to notice that Google updated the LSA help document and removed the mention of "proximity to potential customers' locations" as a ranking factor. Ginny Marvin, @adsliaison, confirmed the update and clarified that while proximity is considered, it's "often not a key indicator of relevancy". This is great news. It was kind of stupid that proximity was ever considered in the LSA ranking algorithm. If a business wants its ad to show across all areas of the city, it should be able to pay to show it. Now, if they would only do the same for service area businesses in the local organic results. Businesses should be able to rank in the areas they specify with service areas, and if you caught my post last week, there are some hints that this might be happening now. Maybe the two are related?! I'm running some tests and will report on my results soon. #localseo #seo

Google is NOT supposed to show your business location if you have removed your address from your profile, but I just discovered a bug in Google Maps that will reveal it. I was doing some searches on airplane wifi (slooooow) and I noticed that when I clicked businesses with no address, the map would shift over to the business location and a red pin would flash for a split second then disappear. Now I'm able to see the pin location for a business that has removed its address. I could never see this before. This has two uses/implications: 1️⃣ This can help determine the location that Google is basing rankings around for businesses that have removed their address. 2️⃣ Google dangerously reveals the address for businesses that definitely do not want their address known (like women's shelters). Are you seeing this too, or was it just some weird thing because I was on airplane wifi? #seo #localseo

Wrong info from Google's AI answers are: 1) All over social media and 2) Incredibly easy to find A simple click on the source link clearly says this is the wrong solution Either Google is going to slow this rollout until it fixes it, or wait for the @nytimes to embarrass it

I'M TRAPPED! :) -> Last week I shared a way to remove your content and links from Google's AI overviews. That worked well, and quickly. But that's not where the story ends... As of this morning I am BACK IN THE AI OVERVIEW, even when nosnippet is being used. So it seems 'preview controls' do not work as intended for stopping content from surfacing in AI Overviews. So if you're in the AI Overview, you are stuck there unless you noindex or 404 the content. That's unless Google fixes something with how 'preview controls' work with AI Overviews. See the screenshot below of my content BACK in the AI Overview. gsqi.com/marketing-blog/how-… @JohnMu @searchliaison
