Some MPPs should be ashamed of themselves. You promised not to touch the Greenbelt and were trusted. For many rural communities who voted @OntarioPCParty they learned today what really happened. We don't think we have scraped the barrel to the bottom yet. #HandsOffTheGreenbelt

"Ford's plan for Ontario Place — to hand over the redevelopment of public land to a private, for-profit firm — is exactly the kind of urban land-use policy you’d expect from a wealthy suburbanite with access to a Muskoka cottage." tvo.org/article/before-ruini…

“Take care of the land. Take care of the animals. Take care of the people.” That’s the aim of the Ross River Dena, who are working to create an #Indigenous Protected Area spanning 25,000 sq km – providing opportunity for young people & sustaining vulnerable caribou populations.

1. Inspired by Ontario’s Greenbelt, a Great Lakes Blue Belt would permanently protect sections of or all the Great Lakes shoreline with public access, regular water monitoring & environmental restoration.
