September 11, 2001 — four separate aircraft were hijacked by 19 al-Qaeda terrorists: American 11, United 175, American 77 and United 93
Vnukovo Airlines Flight 2806 (2001) — hijacked by three Islamic Chechens.
TWA Flight 847 (1985) — hijacked by Lebanese terrorists associated with Hezbollah;
Air France Flight 8969 (1994) — hijacked by Algeria’s Armed Islamic Group.
1999 — IC-814 Five Harkat-ul-Mujahideen/Harkat-ul-Ansar terrorists hijacked the Kathmandu–Delhi flight

On @AmericanAir Flt 757 from DFW to Seattle today, an older U.S. military veteran politely asked a flight attendant a question. As he walked away, she rolled her eyes behind his back.
Disappointing—especially on the Fourth of July. Our veterans deserve respect. Please do better.
