A New Push for Data-Driven Governance!
Chaired a meeting regarding the 'Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai'.
The Maharashtra Technical Assistance Cell (Maha-TAC) will be established to assess the impact of key government schemes and policies of the state. The Cell will work in collaboration with IIM Mumbai and the Centre for Research in Schemes and Policies (CRISP), providing objective, data-driven insights to strengthen decision-making and improve the implementation of welfare schemes.
Maha-TAC will analyse 25 major government policies, while 13 ‘Sashakt Abhiyans’ will be implemented to identify bottlenecks and accelerate decision-making, for various key sectors. The focus will be on two key outcomes namely ‘benefits reaching beneficiaries’ and ‘impact of expenditure’. This will further strengthen data-driven governance, from policy formulation to expenditure management.

Contributing to the current discussion on exam reforms, CRISP has released a Policy Paper for reform of Public Examinations - proposing a National Continuous Assessment System, aptitude-based admissions, coaching reform & stronger schools. Download from crispindia.net
The #NEET debate focus on paper leaks merely looks at the symptom, not the disease. In interview with ETV youtube.com/watch?v=JOVgkVp0… I oppose the high-stakes single exam, single day determining a student's future. India needs structural examination reform—not just tighter security.
Changing the Education Minister won't transform Indian education. Changing the system will. Fix Anganwadis, restore quality in higher education, embed apprenticeships, and replace our coaching-driven exam culture with real learning. Reform the system, not just the face. #NEP2020

Is unification of mind and body (yoga) an event? Events have a short shelf-life, unification of mind-body is eternal. Yoga is not callisthenics (it's focus is on body shaping) while Yoga silences the mind, from depths of which begins an eloquent chat of Soul with its Source.

@narendramodi In this era of GRE-style, on-demand, statistically normalised exams, why does NMC still insist on pen-and-paper NEET in a single session which is the source of all irregularities? Is it just inertia, resistance to change or something more?
