Today, I went back to my notes to revisit what I've been learning about SQL injection. 👾👾 Sometimes, making progress isn't about learning something new. It's about going back, reviewing what you've learned, and making sure you actually understand it.
Solved 3 SQL injection labs on PortSwigger! 👾👾 Learned how UNION attacks can retrieve data from other tables, combine multiple values in one column, and identify columns that accept text.

7/7 I scored 75% on the Module 14 quiz on my first attempt. No retakes needed. Another module completed, and another piece of networking finally making sense.

6/7 Routers also help divide large networks into smaller segments. This reduces broadcast traffic, makes troubleshooting easier, and helps improve network security.

5/7 The default gateway came up again. When sending data to a remote network, a host uses ARP to find the gateway's MAC address. The frame goes to the gateway, while the IP packet keeps the actual destination address.

4/7 I also learnt how routing tables guide a router's decisions. They contain network destinations and the paths used to reach them. If no matching route exists, the router drops the packet unless a default route is configured.
