This week @metpoliceuk is undertaking another "intensification week" across Lambeth, following on from a first one that took place Mon 27 Jul - Sun 2 Aug which led to an increase in arrests This means, for example, that @LambethMPS is receiving the benefit of additional patrols

Local election hustings, organised by @streathamaction and @lovestreatham, take place at Streatham Baptist Church, Lewin Road, next Tuesday 14 April starting at 7PM. The hustings cover three local wards. I've submitted this question:
My question for the local election hustings taking place on 14 April 2026 at Streatham Baptist Church, Lewin Road, starting at 7PM ... So far as I can see, the latest central government figures (25/26 Q3) have Lambeth borrowing £1.071bn from the Public Works Loan Board. How did this situation come about? What impact does it have on the operation of the Borough? How might the situation be improved?
