Labour sent a leaflet with an AI generated picture of the Minet Library and a bunch of false claims on the back. Campaigning is one thing – this is open contempt for residents. Labour were in the meeting where Greens cancelled the cuts Labour planned for our libraries. They lied.

Lambeth Council so frequently deny, spin & ignore objective facts that it's the norm to be gaslit. But it does seem now that blatent lies is the new evolution. A wall of 40 buses: "achieved objective". A £1m cut: "We are investing in Libraries".

Why on earth hasn't the #Streatham Hill LTN been suspended during these often very disruptive A23 cycle lane works? Often seems zero workers on site @TfL
& at the other end, so many buses stacked behind Streatham Hill stn (Sternhold/Thornton) - backed up almost to Balham!😭 🆘️!
Absolute chaos at the junction of Brixton Hill and the South Circular as Traffic Lights are out and buses on diversion via baffling routes, combined with the Streatham Hill road works.

During SW ltn chaos our Streatham MP Ms R-Addy was a silent bystander.
No doubt the fact she *lives in Brixton Hill LTN* has prompted this req for exemptions. Likes her quiet streets but wants the ease of driving down yours.
LTN enclaves really do bring out the worst in people.
I recently wrote to the council leader, calling for resident exemption permits for LTNs.
Whilst traffic calming measures like LTNs are vital to tackle air pollution, they must be implemented in the most effective way.
Good to hear they will keep this option under consideration.

So tired of anonymous desk-based re/designers of streets👨🏻💻. Do they even visit the sites they're paid to tinker with? Some council's carefree "trial" experimentation & "tactical urbanism" approach is unacceptabley amateur. Huge long-term impact on lives, safety & AQ😷
A bus driver who works Putney's junction every day noticed something the council's consultants didn't model.
