…now, let’s remember that buildings built prior to today in the U.K. WERE NOT DESIGNED TO BE COMFORTABLE, LET ALONE HEALTHY/SAFE DURING 40°C SUMMERS, and neither are the ones being built today as you read this. Our built environment is a terrifying omission in climate discourse.
Is the UK becoming too hot to handle? 🌡
40C British summers could become the new normal, according to meteorologists.

Just helped self builders win planning approval for a sustainable strawbale house. We'll done #MidDevon council for upholding their commitment to be #CarbonNeutral by 2030

Scientists agree that atmospheric CO2 should be below 350ppm. But in March we passed 416ppm. Have you already considered building with straw?

We really recommend you experience living in a strawbale house - especially one designed by us! Vist @strawcottages as soon as you can - don't settle for anything less!
We have been trying to keep the animals busy during lockdown - they do miss our guests! Here is one of our chickens enjoying sprout peel bunting. Yummy! @ Elmfield Straw Cottages instagram.com/p/CMHN177FRXl/…

Three fantastic women, 3 leaders of industry.
As founding members of @StrawBaleUK these women have been with us from the start and today are as integral to our vision:
You bet it's possible. Join my course on cement free foundations 10th March via SNaB schoolofnaturalbuilding.co.u…
Use pea shingle and tyres instead of stone filled steel cages for house foundations - is this possible? @YPNMagazine @strawworks #property #savetheplanet
Great local bookshop - and I think they even stock my book Building with Straw Bales
We'll be on #BBCBreakfast tomorrow with the @1totallylocally crew and some great businesses from Hebden Bridge talking about independent shops in #lockdown2uk #HebdenBridge #shoplocal #choosebookshops @BAbooksellers #iplayer
And we're using these panels for our healthy #zerocarbon designs
We're designing truly zero carbon with a cement-free option. Check it out!
Who will be the #Homeof2030 winner? My money is on this one by @Outpost_London with Barbara @strawworks & @Ecococon, splash/@dropofmilk Structures, Sandy Halliday @shall1day of Gaia Group, @propagatingdan and Atelier @at_replica.
