A year ago, Starmer & McSweeney suspended 7 of us for voting to scrap the two-child benefit cap & immediately lift 350,000 kids from poverty.
Now they’re punishing MPs who opposed cuts that would push 800,000 disabled people into poverty.
Insecure men. No vision. No compassion.

Watched it last night. Everyone should. @GaryLineker is right that it is a mark of shame on the BBC that they refused to show it. It doesn’t just expose the attacks on the Gaza healthcare system. It reveals the era of impunity in which “strongmen” leaders believe they can operate. The BBC is one of this country’s greatest cultural assets but has truly lost its way if its leaders cannot see that this was real journalism, not propaganda, and that speaking truth to power rather than cowering in front of it is what their journalism should be about. They have some terrific reporters doing their best but sometimes it takes a film made over time to tell the whole story and it beggars belief that they have up the chance to broadcast it. Out of fear of what?
Thanks to @GaryLineker for hosting our screening of the #GazaDoctorsUnderAttack tonight with a panel of Drs and some of us who made the film. So much to say and much said watch this space. See it on @Channel4 & @zeteo_news

"May constitute a war crime"? May? What will it take for the Western Press to get off the damned fence? Israel's war criminality has been established in fact long, long ago

I live in a country that gives military support to another country which is killing thousands of civilians while proscribing an organisation which protests about it.

I think Netanyahu is under the impression that this will be like the NATO campaign in Libya, except there is no Arab Spring revolt taking place in Tehran, so he is trying to manifest one into being by bombing a population that doesn’t want to be bombed

Netanyahu started this war by attacking Iran.
He assassinated Ali Shamkhani, Iran’s lead nuclear negotiator, deliberately sabotaging US-Iran nuclear negotiations.
The US must not be dragged into another illegal Netanyahu war – either militarily or financially.

I wish the BBC, ITV and C4 news would open with this every time he is mentioned or interviewed.

Yesterday another Palestinian reporter was killed in Gaza - Fatima Hassouna - along with her family. Her crime was to chronicle the genocide through powerful articles and photos. What a genocidal regime cannot allow.
Those, particularly journalists, who continue to remain silent, should be ashamed.

Marine Le Pen has been hit with a 4 year stretch for embezzling; 2 year’s suspended, and another 2 under house arrest with an ankle bracelet like some sort of political Lindsay Lohan.

Thames Water was privatised in 1989 with no debt.
Since then it’s racked up £14.7 billion in debt at the same time as paying out £10.4 billion to its shareholders.
If that's not a scam, I don't know what is!

Police raid Quakers as women met to discuss protests over climate change and Gaza bit.ly/3RpE9lA I wonder how many meetings of farmers to discuss blocking London with tractors over paying tax have been raided! Of course neither should be - this is policing thought crime.
