Why didn't we just raise the $STRC dividend above 12%? Past a certain point, a higher rate stops adding demand. It can look like distress and push buyers away from the whole complex. So we leaned on other tools.

STRC just a few cents away from par! SATA crashing down to $96 I continue to have doubts if there is space for more than 1 player in the market. STRC has: -> The highest BTC Rating -> The longest USD duration -> Strategy with an S&P Credit rating -> Way more Liquidity & Volume -> Buy back Protection Why would anyone choose SATA over STRC for only 1% more yield? This is why I continue to be all in on MSTR, no ASST or other BTCTC. I’m open to change my mind! What do I overlook? Will there be meaningful demand for SATA?

Credit to Bitcoin Believer for his intellectual honesty. BB was previously a staunch critic of our analysis on the impact of Saylor’s promotion on STRC and SATA price action. For those unaware, Saylor has been heavily promoting the rival firm over the last few months. While we agree multiple issuers are good for the space, we felt it was inappropriate for Saylor to refer to the rival firm using superlatives such as “optimal” (during an official Strategy earnings call) or their product SATA as “the most interesting story in Bitcoin” on an X post. The infamous X post in question preceded the enormous sell off in STRC yet no accountability has been taken for any negative impact that may have arisen from the communication. Since then, STRC has failed to return to par, despite Strategy executing buy backs of over $1.45 bn. Meanwhile, SATA has grown to over $1.35 bn in notional outstanding. An uncannily similar figure. The buybacks have ramped in scale as we have approached par, despite Saylor’s guidance that they would taper, and buying would remain disciplined. We have noted dozens of anecdotal accounts of STRC shareholders rotating into SATA, yet the rival firm continues to receive promotion (see the thread below), while STRC has still not returned to par. Some observers have now concluded Saylor is actively encouraging MSTR investors to sell and rotate into the other firm. While we make no such conclusion ourselves, we do find it bizarre that the company refuses to directly engage on the topic in a balanced manner. No one doubts the benefits that multiple issuers bring to the industry, the question is whether it is appropriate, or beneficial, for Strategy management to promote a rival firm, particularly since management of the rival firm openly claim their equity will outperform Strategy.
Credits to @BitStrategy21 who has been criticising for months that Saylor is doing free promo's of competitor Strive $ASST and $SATA to his 5 million followers

BitStrategy: competition is a good thing. STRC and SATA are competitors. Saylor and Cole: We are not in competition with each other. BitStrategy: by competition, we simply mean you offer comparable products in the same market (digital credit). Saylor and Cole: this is ridiculous. ASST is orders of magnitude smaller than MSTR! BitStrategy: while SATA is much smaller in terms of market capitalization, its dollar volume is material relative to STRC, with SATA volume exceeding 60% of STRC volume on certain trading days. Saylor and Cole: look, this isn’t Pepsi versus Coke, we need multiple issuers to grow the industry! BitStrategy: Yes, we agree multiple issuers is a positive, as long as we all understand that the presence of other issuers may impact demand at the margin in the short term, and may result in a rotation from one product to another. For example, while SATA has grown significantly over the last quarter, STRC has shrunk, resulting in a net reduction in the size of the industry in aggregate. Saylor and Cole: But competition is a good thing! BitStrategy: Yes... we know.

SELL $ASST Buy $MSTR
$STRC investors have been rotating into $SATA. This is not new capital entering the industry. But Dracula Cole has brainwashed retail into thinking Strive is the alpha and they unlocked a new market with daily dividends. Even Saylor has succumbed to this nonsense. Reposting Strive buying BTC every week while we sit in the cuck chair and give exit liquidity to all the previous STRC holders. We need to put an end to funding Matt Cole's new yacht. • $800k base salary • ~$1.6M annual target cash bonus • Current STIP can pay up to ~$4M cash • ~$17M RSU grant on top • Plus additional performance stock awards This enourmous payment package won't fund itself without the suckers buying in. Sell $ASST Buy $MSTR

$MSTR is in a class of its own compared to $ASST. Both companies performed a stock split during its BSE. Strategy did a 10 for 1 stock split on August 8th 2024. True intrinsic share price for $MSTR = $1,620 Strive did a 1 to 20 reverse stock split on February 6th 2026. True intrinsic share price for $ASST = $1.50 $1,620 > $1.50 Sorry $ASST longs but $MSTR is the real GOAT.

While SATA has been growing rapidly, the Digital Credit market as a whole has shrunk significantly since 1 June. Its better if the Industry grows rather than shrinks. Strategy needed to start getting serious earlier instead of letting Strive eat their lunch.

Saifedean Ammous does not see a compelling case for bitcoin treasury companies other than Strategy. Strategy's latest 8-K showed 847,666 BTC bought for $63.95 billion, plus a $5.02 billion cash reserve for preferred dividends and interest. His point is scale: that stack and cash let it borrow cheaper and survive a deeper drawdown than copycats. He still prefers holding bitcoin directly.
