Latest interview with @Saylor

Saylor just gave a masterclass on Digital Credit at ParaFi's Investor Day and shared what Strategy learned in year one.
The most surprising lesson?
The market would rather see Strategy hold 3 years of dollars than 30 years of Bitcoin.
That explains STRC’s product evolution, a $4.8B cash reserve, and today’s $1B buyback expansion.
Key takeaways + an IR read on each: A 🧵

One of the most impressive things about Mr. Michael J. @saylor isn’t just what he’s built.
It’s how he celebrates others building alongside him.
🟠 He calls Strive’s daily dividend strategy “brilliant.”
🟠 He predicts @Strive ($ASST) could become one of the fastest-growing companies in U.S. markets over the next decade. Has publicly praised Mr. Matt Cole and team @ColeMacro.
🟠 He predicts @Metaplanet ($MJPY/$MTPLF) could become the most valuable company in Japanese history within 10–20 years.
🟠 Today, he’s congratulating Mr. Simon @gerovich on Superplanet.
Think about that.
The man who pioneered Bitcoin-backed digital credit with $MSTR and $STRC isn’t afraid of competition.
He welcomes it. He encourages it. He celebrates it. And he applauds it. 👏
@saylor and @Strategy helped open the doors of traditional finance to Bitcoin building bridges through publicly traded equities, convertible bonds, preferred securities, and multiple innovative credit products.
And now he’s cheering as others walk through those doors.
Great leaders build companies. Extraordinary leaders build industries.
Competition isn’t the enemy of success. It’s the engine of progress.
Here’s what Saylor understands that so many people miss:
8 billion people aren’t going to embrace a highly volatile asset like Bitcoin through self-custody overnight.
Adoption requires bridges.
Bridges between Bitcoin and Wall Street. Between traditional finance and digital capital. Between the financial system we inherited and the one we’re building.
So he builds those bridges.
And rather than guarding them, he encourages others to build their own.
Different companies. Different strategies. Different paths.
But ultimately, we’re all working toward the same destination:
Financial sovereignty.
I’ve never witnessed anything quite like it in financial markets.
Class act, Mr. @saylor. 🧡🙏
Strategy says it’s fine for investors to allocate to multiple different Treasury Companies if they want to.
Well, we don’t want to.
Why sell the winner to buy the loser, anyway? I’m sure I’ve heard that before somewhere.
We just want to invest in Strategy, thanks Strategy.
We like the stock.
Regards

MSTR holders should continue to track, measure, and question mgmt’s decisions, but I continue to be impressed with the team’s low time preference and willingness to engage.
Why is $STRC trading just under $100?
Funds and arbitrageurs that bought in the $75-$90 range for the trip back to par are now selling to income investors. That rotation has naturally taken time.

I am still bullish on @Strategy, $MSTR, but it’s also prudent to admit that the dilutive resistant $BTC acquisition engine of issuing preferred stocks to acquire bitcoin has been stalled for the better part of this year. I will share some math soon which presents a rather strong upside still for $MSTR. Unfortunately, managements actions to return $STRC to par have been helpful but not enough to kick start the engine again.

I support buybacks too.
However, given STRC is still not at par, against expectations, I suggest we temporarily discontinue promotion of Strive.
Continuing promotion while STRC is not at par is tantamount to prioritising Strive ahead of restoration of STRC to par.

I seem to have ruffled some feathers. I’m still pro $STRC, but I stand by my analysis. You can believe in a product and still question execution, not mutually exclusive.
I’m increasingly concerned with the short term future of $STRC. We’ll see if daily divs help but you’d think the enormous repurchases would be sufficient to bring this thing back to par.
But when you invest billions more than you expected, it’s time to rethink your Strategy.

@CJ_Bitcoin said that raising the $STRC divs above 12% is iatrogenic and could signal distress within the company.
At which point does repurchasing STRC become iatrogenic and signal distress within the STRC strategy?
Strategy has repurchased $193M of $STRC and acquired 267 $BTC. As of 10/18/26, we hold 848,517 BTC and $5.3B of USD Assets. We have also increased the size of our Digital Credit Securities Repurchase Program from $2.0B to $3.0B. $MSTR
