The Americanization of Emily (1964) 4/5 Paddy Chayefsky's cynical, funny, irreverent, anti-war (?) script crackles with wit from start to finish. James Garner is excellent as the avowed clear-eyed coward in the face of the D-Day invasion of Normandy. Thanks @katzMeow1111
