What band or artist did you see at a tiny venue or a club before they became huge?

There have been some great collaborations over the years between artists and groups. Many have left a lasting impact on music. Some unfortunately never materialized. Who are two artists you wish had collaborated together?

Back in the day when vinyl was supreme, having an album was more than just listening to the music. I spent hours examining the artwork, reading the gatefold sleeve, credits and lyrics. Which albums bring back those memories to you?

Some songs are blocked because of their lyrics. The 60’s and the 70’s had their share of songs deemed too controversial for radio or television. One such song was “Eight Miles High” by the Byrds. What’s another song that was considered too controversial for radio or TV?

“Abacab” is the eleventh studio album released by Genesis on this day in 1981. It would become the band’s first top-ten album in the United States. The song about alien abductors, “Keep It Dark” is my favourite. What’s yours?

Black Sabbath released their second studio album, “Paranoid” on this day in 1970. This was my introduction to this band, a groundbreaking album that is still considered a blueprint for heavy metal. What are your thoughts on this album? Favourite tracks? #BlackSabbath
