this has made me realize that my 1 really is a 3 or 4. this is my issue with these scales cause if you‘re always in pain the way you relate pain is obviously gonna be different. they should just make you look at this scale when they ask you so everyone‘s on the same wavelength
I personally recommend referencing the Mankoski Pain Scale. The markers it uses are more objective than the traditional one with the faces. It’s also been shown to be more effective for autistic and other neurodiverse people.

Josh O’Connor has been cast as the next James Bond, according to The Sun. (Source: vanityfair.com/story/josh-o-…)
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Josh O’Connor has not been officially cast as the next James Bond. The linked Vanity Fair article states there are no official announcements and attributes the claim to an unconfirmed tabloid rumor from anonymous sources. vanityfair.com/story/josh-o-c… deadline.com/2026/11/robert…

when i tell people i don‘t really remember any of my childhood and they go "that‘s a trauma response :(" girl no that‘s just a bad memory
I wonder how many people think that they repressed their childhood due to trauma but actually just forgot because it was 15 years ago

i wonder will i always wonder
obviously I love Taylor’s more wordy lyrics. But I love when she manages to write heartbreak in the most simplistic sentence ever. Like I just don’t understand how you don’t miss me

to be fair the washing machine also doesn‘t have a concept of what 30 min is
a washing machine cycle is a great way to remind yourself of how loose your concept of 30 min is

a lot of these things Are stuff everyone is experiencing. no one is 100% neurotypical, especially not gen z and younger who largely grew up with social media and smartphones
Things I thought everyone experienced until I found out I was neurodivergent:

i‘m already so pissed at this adaptation adaptation like what are we talking about 😭😭 i very genuinely can‘t even beging to understand in what way mrs bennet would be considered the hero of p&p
When one reads 'Pride and Prejudice' as a teen or a 20-something, it’s easy to get swept up in the romance. If you reread it in your mid-30s, though, you may come to the same realization Alderton did: “Mrs. Bennet’s kind of the hero of the whole f--king thing.” vanityfair.visitlink.me/6VVR…
