Reflections from Geneva 🇨🇭 at the @UNGeneva ’s @AIforGood Summit, convened by the International Telecommunication Union @ITU. The experience reinforced a powerful message: Africa’s opportunity is not simply to talk about AI, but to implement it. Africa has the talent. What we need are stronger ecosystems, investment in people, research, entrepreneurship, and opportunities for young innovators to build and apply AI to real challenges. From healthcare and agriculture to education, manufacturing and financial inclusion, AI can help Africa leapfrog traditional development pathways. Africa should not aspire to become Silicon Valley. We should aspire to become the best version of ourselves, building solutions that are locally relevant and globally impactful. The future of AI should be measured not only by what we automate, but by how many people we empower. 🌍🤖 #AIforGood #ITU #UN #Geneva #Africa #ArtificialIntelligence #Innovation

Deeply honoured to have contributed as a Speaker & Moderator at the @UNGeneva 🇺🇳 @WSISprocess Forum 2026 in Geneva, convened by the @ITU . We explored how AI, digital innovation and future-ready skills can bridge the digital divide, transform education, and empower the next generation—particularly across Africa.
