Each child actually adds far more than this, as we don’t relate merely to other individuals—we also relate to the emergent dynamics between those individuals. The simplest example of this emerges when moving from dyad to triad: Say you’re a husband and you have a child. Now you’re a husband, a father, *and* in relation with the mother-child dyad. This scales not in proportion to undirected edge relations, but *combinatorially* with the set of all possible familial subsets. In other words, family dynamics grow and evolve as *hypergraphs*.
every child you add to your family adds much more than one new relationship third child = four more relationships fourth child = five more relationships

I think you generate thousands of pages programmatically for each instance of like city, photo style etc

What’s pSEO? Programmatic SEO is about creating thousands of high-value pages automatically, each targeting a specific keyword or location, so you rank for everything people search! Instead of writing posts one by one, you build a template and feed it data to spin up thousands of pages that each target a search query. That’s how Pieter floods Google with 590k+ pages!

"The Gap Through Which We Praise the Machine" ferd.ca/the-gap-through-whic… I agree with this criticism of the LLMs and how they are hyped for magic when it actually needs effort and training to be effective.

Any recommendations on short-depth server, NAS or JBOD enclosures? QNAP TS-435XeU supports ECC, 4x3.5, 2xM.2 and 10GbE in 1U, with upstream Linux support for Marvell CN913x SoC. Need a modern alternative with Ryzen Embedded or Intel TwinLake N150, for DRTM support.

It’d be very hard to robotically automate the manufacturing of the *current* iPhone design. I wonder what a grounds-up design would/could be where 75% is robotically automated. How thick of a phone would be acceptable? What materials would be acceptable? Certainly, we could find a way to do it with an endless cash supply. (Not saying it would be affordable). We figured out EUV that seems like science fiction. We have figured out very hard early stage quantum computing. All major systems and control challenges. Please no lectures on the complex supply chain you’d need to be locally, I’m aware. Seems weak to say “we can’t”. We just don’t have a motivation.

We could start by rebooting indestructible Blackberry & Nokia designs that were once manufactured in North America and Europe. There is even demand for simulacra, e.g. monthly batches from this German shop sell out within minutes, tindie.com/stores/zitaotech/

Rave reviews for student biz with open hardware and open firmware, decentralized 3D printing, customizable. To close the ironic loop, some were gifted to former RIM staff. Do they remember how to make the original? Back to the Future!

Important research on looking for hard-to-find things that are most certainly there 🔬
Some exciting research to share from Binarly REsearchers @cci_forensics and @pagabuc -- a novel approach to UEFI bootkit detection. 🔥Read the technical paper: "UEFI Bootkit Hunting: In-Depth Search for Unique Code Behavior" 👉 binarly.io/blog/uefi-bootkit…

I found a story about Armen on HN that captured the spirit *for me*: but, like, this is just one story that is not dispositive on its own—the key thing is more the culture than makes this possible, and being able to do this is just a symptom, not a cause

Directional identification and mapping, burst and LE detection including reflection incident, and passive long term large BW monitoring are highly important nowadays with dense emitter and technology environments. Just something to keep in mind for further revision. 😎
