Over last week I had the pleasure of visiting friends and colleagues in the city of Geneva Fire Service and the European Organisation for Nuclear Research CERN Fire and Rescue Service. It's been great to learn how others solve the problems that we all come across.
Absolutely outstanding article from @PJNorwood in @fireengineering.
It succinctly points out that the challenge of fire service training is strongly based on high quality fire instructors training and competency.

I can't remember who recommended this book to me but it is outstanding work aimed at aspiring or current leaders. Don't be put off by its military focus, it elaborates on concepts applicable to any industry and emergency services alike.
Highly recommend.
