Pretty damn cool story at todays Monday Q for Bermuda (played ahead of time so players can arrange travel). Austin Lemieux, son of the legendary Mario Lemieux just shot 66 and qualified for his first ever PGA Tour event. The 30 year old is still an amateur and will be playing in his first ever PGA Tour event. He played hockey at Arizona State before pursuing a career in golf. Austin has won many amateur events and wins often on the Minor League Tour in Florida. In fact last week shot 65-65 and won on the 3rd playoff hole on that tour. The field of pros he beat included Parker Coody, Bo Hoag, and Gavin Hall, among others. He's legit and adds a pretty cool story line to the field.
