What a spectacular solar eclipse it was!!
I was about 45 km west from Burgos, did a live stream and recorded a footage of totality. Many things didn't go my way, but some did. Very happy!! 😎
Share your best shot with me please!
This is a video about how I captured this shot. The video language is hungarian, but youtube does a pretty good job with auto-translate. Let me know how easy or hard auto-translated english was 📷

After a long break this morning at 2:39 am UTC I've captured the International Space Station near Saturn from Hungary. Only 2 frames had the ISS. This is a composite photo! Details: SW 10" dobson, ASI 224MC cam, FireCapture, Registax, Photoshop
Dear friends!
My website spacestationguys.com has been hacked. The restoration was partially successful, everything that was added after Nov. 2024 is lost.
I wasn't too active lately, so not much is lost, nevertheless every loss is a loss.
The ISS archive is still standing!
International @Space_Station with Cygnus NG-23 cargo spacecraft tonight about 6 hours after leaving the #ISS. Max. elevation at 36 deg.

This is pure insanity!! Ship 38 during ascend phase!
Here's the 11" telescope view after the refractor view of @SpaceX Starship Flight 11 from Florida.

Just like a Roomba, it drives around, but it’s not cleaning, instead it’s printing the floor plan on to the slab.
So simple, so powerful
Look at those colours and details!! 🫶 – at Mátészalka, Magyarország

ISS pass over the UK last night at 4:40, it's the last pass until it's back in the evening in two weeks.

HEO has signed an exclusive agreement with @Satellogic to task their high-resolution constellation for Non-Earth Imaging, giving us priority access to a highly agile Earth observation fleet now repurposed for in-orbit inspection.

Could the ISS fly backwards? We apparently it can and it does! 😊
Thanks to Charline Giround @TataatBoxe we know it now.

Good tracking last night under hazy sky. I think ISS was still at high beta angle configuration, which should end today. So tomorrow Axiom-4 mission will begin its end game with undocking. Tibor Kapu is coming home 😊 – at Mátészalka, Magyarország
Just wow!!
The @Space_Station last night, hand-guided as it flew over the UK at 23:30 local time. The dual Dragons of Axiom-4 and Crew-10 are prominent at the aft end of the station.
24” scope at 7000mm f/11.7.
Can someone help me with ISS's High Beta Angle Season please? When is it due? I heard AX-4 return time might be affected by it, but as far as I know it usually happens at the end of May to early June, well at summer/winter solstices.

ISS pass from 4th July! Stacked lots of frames and despite the blurry moments, I'm so happy for the result. It's only a 10" scope, Skywatcher offers now the ability to track the ISS with lower end dobsonian mounts. Real good stuff!
