stop thinking of web2 as a competitor to crypto. it’s not a competitor, it’s a boot loader.
web2 has the social graphs & distribution, crypto has the assets & econ.
@friendtech boot loaded from twitter
@songtech_ boot loading fro spotify
vampire collabs not vampire attacks

The next big thing is here with song.tech
It's FT but for shares of songs with a % of fees going to the artist and existing holders
A few reasons why I'm obsessed with this idea 👇

A new FriendTech deriv called @songtech_ launched recently:
- anyone can submit a song (market) for a fee of 0.001 ETH
- holders receive 5% of all buys and sells, another 5% is reserved for the artist themselves
- 0 platform fees
- linear pricing curve

song.tech is an interesting experiment.
It's like @friendtech, but for ANY Spotify track, and some % of the fees go to the traders, on top of the artist fees.
Artists should bear no responsibility for any links submitted to SongTech.
Fees are generated entirely from onchain transactions.
Tokens do not come with any inherent governance rights and are non-transferable by nature.
SongTech is highly experimental.
It was built as an open protocol - allowing anyone to recreate this experiment with any type of link.
Welcome to the arena.
