getting lots of followers today but i think y’all really mean to follow @tonedotaudio & tone.audio Tone & Sone are overlapping projects, but are largely mutually exclusive. if you’re interested in a co-operatively owned music listening service, that’s @tonedotaudio!

.@UMAW_ delivered our union's petition asking for a fair and timely election (featuring 3000+ from our community — thanks to you!) to leadership Artists and fans believe that Bandcamp workers deserve a say in our working conditions ✊ Here are some of the petition 🥰 comments
a presentation slide that reads "I use Bandcamp as both an artist and fan. It's important to me that same care, fair play, and representation is given to Bandcamp employees, too. Do the right thing and support and facilitate a timely and fair election process and unionization."

If you want the arts and humanities to thrive, organize. It’s not capital that writes novels and songs - unless you just want AI versions. It’s labor, duh. Labor labor labor. We aren’t rewarding labor enough to thrive as a society of any kind

Just a friendly reminder that we’re working with @soneworks on an alternative music focused Mastodon server. Mastodon is a decentralized Twitter alternative that puts privacy and moderation into the hands of users, instead of a narcissist on a bender. sone.social/about – at Lakewood, OH
