Built a virtual office for all my @claudeai agents to hang out in. They come to my office when they require my attention. I also get a push notification so it’s easier for me to keep track of the threads that require me when I am multi tasking.
The way it’s going I will need a bigger office 😂
This year will probably end up becoming another record for tourist arrivals from India. Like I predicted last year, the largest share of high end property bookings ($500/night +) are dominated quite easily by the Indian market.
I am really starting to worry about @SampathBankPLC and its online banking infrastructure. I just made a payment to my credit card, and the payment was doubled to my card. (Good for me). But, how can this kind of error even happen? I have previously had issues where the system randomly deducted huge amounts from my card too.
Does anyone know what the current passport renewal process is like? Is is online? Or do you still need to go stay in line at the passport office?
Happy World Tourism Day. Sri Lanka walks into another season with no real brand, no marketing, no sales plan and no strategy.
We earn less from every visitor, while our favourite places are being loved to exhaustion.
And with yet another new Chairman of the SLTDA we're likely to start over again, with a lot of the work done previously (however little it may have been) getting a full reset. We need one simple strategy the whole country can get behind.
We keep floating this plan, and it won’t be long before it gets to a point where we simply will not be able to fix the problem.

Ah damn, working on GitHub with @claudeai Projects, and Opus 5.5 is a dream. Exactly what I was looking for to reduce my dependency on my laptop. Didn’t want to fiddle around too much with VPSs.

Just as both of the largest AI companies said that AI development needs to slow down, we get Opus 5.5 and GPT 6 sol dropped on the same day 😂
I love it though, more competition makes it better for the consumers. I feel like @AnthropicAI is gaining ground again on @OpenAI
And the ball is now back with @OpenAI, usage has got so bad. Astra burns through your usage even with it on Low/Medium.
Meanwhile, my @claudeai subscription recently seems to be really holding up well in terms of usage.
Honestly, that's it, I am done with @AnthropicAI. The new limits are even more horrendous. Fable 5.1 absolutely eats through it. But to add it all, the number of times Claude has been down over the past 30 days is unacceptable.

It's a bit concerning that @Shopify Plus own support team is unaware that LCP data is available on Shopify's own admin.
I do wonder if these agents that provide support are actually trained and know the system end to end.
Is it just me or is everyone seeing an improvement with usage on @claudeai?
It’s absolutely incredible how India has mastered the art of the last mile delivery, especially considering how massive the country is.
I can order literally anything to my hotel and have it in about 15 minutes.
Honestly though, not a single government has got tourism right so far.

Tourism is still one of Sri Lanka’s strongest foreign-exchange engines. That is why the next chapter cannot be only about arrivals.
We opened 2026 well. Then connectivity shocks slowed the middle of the year. By late August we are around 1.5 million visitors - close to last year’s pace. Earnings have not kept up. More feet, thinner spend.
That is the opening for new thinking.
The question for the new Tourism head is not “can we get back to 2.5 million?” It is whether we can make each visitor stay longer, spend better, and leave wanting to return with friends.
India is already our largest market. Europe still pays. The winter season is coming. The opportunity is to sell Sri Lanka as a high-value island - food, wellness, wildlife, heritage, small luxury - not as a cheap stop.
Count the dollars as carefully as the arrivals. If we do that, the numbers will follow. If we only chase headcount, we will keep celebrating the wrong scoreboard.
A reset in leadership is a chance to change the metric. That is the delivery that matters ! 🇱🇰✨✈️🏝️
