I recently met with some bright young men from our @MBK_Alliance programs in Chicago and Newark who had the chance to go on a cultural exchange in Brazil. It was a life changing experience – and a reminder of why it’s so important to invest in our young people and give them a chance to experience different cultures and broaden their own understanding.
I had the pleasure of supporting Summer Academy at @FairOaksHCPS and met the cutest little family. Best wishes for an amazing school year! 😘🎉 #cruisingtheportsoflearning #cruisesquad #positivityport #leadHERship

My heart and prayers are with @HenricoHighSch. May God keep you and bless you in the days to come. 💚💛
Today was the most beautiful! I completed the Aspiring Leaders Academy! Sometimes you never know what you can do until you open yourself up to the opportunity! I’ve met some great people, and I’m excited for what’s to come! ✨💕 #schoolleadership #daretolead #cohort7
I coded a drone today! I had a ball at #EdTechRVA and @Smackten is tough! 💪🏾 Here’s to unlocking a deeper level of learning for @QMSGriffins! 💡✨
@QMSGriffins are celebrating kindness this week! Take the time to make someone’s day feel special! 🩷
I modeled a lesson for a teacher today…she said, “I was so distracted I didn’t even take notes. I can tell that you love teaching. The passion just comes through.”
Well, thank you sis, because sometimes my passion makes me wanna go work at Sephora! 😩🥰

QMS Language Learners Academy for Families ... Tuesday, February 6th, from 5:30-7:00 PM @ the Q! Use the QR code to sign up @QMSGriffins @QMSPTSO
It was a good day at the Q—a teacher called me her “Fairy Godmother,” because I “magically” appear when she needs help, and I did my first bus dismissal without choking from the jitters or calling the wrong numbers!😆 ✨@QMSGriffins
Me: Runs into my AP @jgknighton at PL (no idea we were in the same building at the same time)…
Also Me: We’re both wearing @QMSGriffins gear, so picture timmmeeeee!! 📸
It’s Friday! 🤸🏾♀️😎
I stopped by a classroom and left with a henna tattoo. I also had the pleasure of learning about the “peace tree” created in solidarity for the conflict in Israel. Let this serve as a reminder that we have to be culturally responsive everyday!

One year after one of the darkest days on Grounds, there wasn’t a cloud in sight.
The chapel’s bells tolled three times – once for Devin Chandler, once for Lavel Davis Jr. and once for D’Sean Perry. #UVAStrong news.virginia.edu/content/lo…
