Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has endorsed California's potential new billionaire tax laws, even if it will cost him $8 billion. "I don't mind paying taxes. The more you make, the more taxes you pay. I'm okay with that. I am the ultimate American Dream."

Your LLM agent has to think out loud, token by token, before it can search, run code, or act in the world. We humans don’t. We ponder in silence and speak when it matters. Human language was never meant to be the limit of machine thought. Introducing 🌗Hybrid Reasoning Agents - Think in latent space, act through text - Two modes, one unified multi-turn flow - No black box, fully readable latent thoughts - Any LLM can become a HybridAgent

🚀 Introducing Next-Concept Modeling (NCM): our new paradigm for fast, parallel, coarse-to-fine text generation. Compared to strong diffusion language models (DLMs) at similar parameter size, NCM achieves: ⚡ Up to 31× faster generation on downstream tasks like summarization and machine translation with comparable or better quality. 🏎️ 10–21× faster unconditional generation across TinyStories, LM1B, and OpenWebText, with comparable or better generative perplexity and using 3–5× fewer training tokens. 🧩 Better performance on reasoning tasks like Sudoku, outperforming both AR and diffusion baselines with fewer sampling steps. With @ishanskhare, @IddahMlauzi, @ekellbuch, @simran_s_arora, @Azaliamirh, and @HazyResearch. More details in the thread 🧵👇

I prefer to burn my weekly limit in a day and then go and go and do other things. The 5hr limit was the reason to shift to the 20X Pro Version. With the 5hr limit, you feel you are working for the AI rather than the other way around.

Michael I. Jordan, machine learning demigod, UC Berkeley ... the young people who work at these companies operate in a world [Silicon Valley, Berkeley, etc.] where these kinds of discussions are commonplace. Many of them aren’t really engineers; they come from the humanities, philosophy, or other disciplines. They’re 25 years old, they’re naive, they don’t do engineering work, they’ve never worked at large companies where real products are developed for real people, with discipline. And they get together, a bit like in Parisian cafés in the 1920s, to talk about these grand science-fiction ideas. When these young people resign, they know they’re going to attract attention. It allows them to feel virtuous and to be seen as very important figures. They claim to be giving up money, but in reality, they already have their stock options. So all of this is a grand moralizing performance that doesn’t serve the real objective it claims to pursue. There’s a great deal of naiveté here, which goes hand in hand with a certain cynicism… di.ens.fr/~fbach/MJordan_ITW…

Introducing ManimGX, the 3D animation engine for agents. - Blazingly fast: 90× faster than ManimCE - Rust + wgpu core - Compatible with Manim's Python API - Lightweight: one pip install, no system dependencies Open source: github.com/academa-labs/mani… Docs: manimgx.academa.ai For 40 years we built GUIs for humans. Now we build APIs for agents. Try it. Paste this into your favorite coding agent: "Follow manimgx.academa.ai/llms.txt to make me a 3D animation of the solar system, and open it."

🚀 Excited to introduce StreamRender-H3 — bringing real-time interactive worlds to life with diffusion models! Built on Sol-Engine, we post-trained @MiniMax_AI H3 Ref2VA into a real-time streaming neural renderer. 🎮 Code drives the world. A game engine handles physics, object states, and player interactions, while H3 generates the visuals. ⚡ Real-time streaming: 2 denoising steps, 24 FPS, and ~273 ms per chunk on 8×GB200 GPUs. 🎨 One world, endless appearances: Change the reference image and prompt to render the same interactive world in entirely different styles. 🔥 Powered by streaming post-training, distillation, a fast causal H3 VAE, and full-stack inference acceleration. Check out our demo and code! 👇 demo: nvlabs.github.io/Sana/Sol-En… code: github.com/NVlabs/Sana/tree/…

This is like a software developer complaining they can't use the VIM editor anymore to write code but they have to use a coding agent. Your goal is to solve problems!
Fields medallist Hugo Duminil-Copin was deeply shaken by OpenAI’s release of more than 700 AI-generated mathematical manuscripts, including work on 16 questions directly relevant to his research. “On Tuesday night, I cried, and it woke up my daughter” “They have annihilated my field of research.” lemonde.fr/sciences/article/…

Atrophy is a choice. Machines play chess better than we do, but we still play and reap many benefits from it. Let AI perform tasks, but never stop challenging your mind, or yourself.
We created gyms because modern day work no longer required physical activity. Without exercise, our muscles atrophy. I predict we’ll need gyms for our brains too, once AI starts doing our knowledge work.
