Garbage take.
Vivek is a good test taker like most Indians are.
He “studied” the movement and ran the primary like he had all the “right answers to the test”.
He managed to turn that from 0% to 9% nationally. No easy feat.
However, the biggest knock on him from primary voters who voted for someone else was that those voters didn’t “trust” him.
Instead of taking that data and fixing his game like a good student, he thought he would just earn that by getting appointed in the Trump admin for ten seconds.
Then came the infamous Christmas Crashout where Vivek showed his disdain for, of all things, Saved by the Bell, prom kings/queens, slumber parties, and playing school sports. Whatever “trust” he thought he earned with that ten second appointment instantly vanished. For all intents and purposes, he had no MAGA bona fides with the base at this point.
He then pretended like none of this happened and posted through it.
Indians are quick to blame GOP base voters for not being into Vivek to the point he may possibly lose.
What sort of appetite will Indians have to blame Vivek if Vivek loses? You know, the guy who’s actually running the campaign to convince a state that he deserves its top seat?
Ultimately, Vivek is the principal, and it is incumbent on him to win. You don’t get to play oppression Olympics in big boy politics.
As we say in America, “there’s no crying in baseball”.
Vivek Ramaswamy gave MAGA good vocabulary. He took their somewhat crude positions on meritocracy, immigration, executive power, anti-wokeism etc and wrapped them in the language of Yale and Harvard. He made the intellectual case for Trumpism better than Trump ever could.
And now he is losing Ohio. A state Trump won by 11 points.
There are many factors. Gas prices. Wars of choice. Trump's disdain for rural America. Vivek's rocky DOGE stint. His rebrand from national provocateur to state-level executive. But let us not pretend the obvious is not a factor. His race and his Hindu faith have been a constant undercurrent. In a fundamentally crude and unintellectual movement, the sophisticated vocabulary was borrowed. However, MAGA's instincts kicked in.
MAGA used Vivek’s language when it was convenient. Now that he needs their votes, many have defaulted to their natural state. The movement that talks about meritocracy all day cannot bring itself to support the most meritocratic candidate on their side.
Vivek is a billionaire. He neither needs nor deserves sympathy. But there is a deep irony here. He entered politics to expose the hypocrisy of the progressive left. He may end up exposing the hypocrisy of the populist right.
Any wealthy, educated, brown-skinned person watching this race is coming the same conclusion: MAGA cannot look past your faith and skin color.
Chris Pratt says Imax drone cameras were used for his new Vatican documentary with Pope Leo, which explores the tomb of St. Peter. He says the experience helped redefine his Catholic faith:
“It was really profound to be encountering the remains of one of Jesus’ apostles. There was prophetic word, he said that the church will be built upon that rock. And Simon Peter is the rock. To see the church some 2,000 years later, and see the prophecy of his words came true, it just was really meaningful to me.”

Vivek is so unthinkably vile that even the most seasoned veteran antisemite misogynists are empathizing with his Jewish woman opponent.

The fact that Jews had a chubby Jewish kid, (who is a famous Jewish TV producers son BTW) ask Charlie Kirk his last question about trans violence, before killing him and blaming it on a patsy with “a trans lover,” is so on brand for them.
Gives them the perfect opportunity to then turn around and exploit the talking points and use more media repetition to inculcate the masses with the mainstream narrative.
Total Jewish supremacy.

It was in the early 1960s that Ford dipped into the recreational vehicle market and came up with this gem, the Unitron.
It was created to function as a mobile office, an RV, and a delivery van. This vehicle had a rear engine, was 200 inches long, and 56 inches tall.
Unfortunately, it never took off, but maybe it's not too late to revisit this design.

On making the sign of the Cross in public:
In the year 211, Tertullian wrote of the Catholic practice of tracing the sign of the Cross on one’s forehead throughout the common activities of the day:
"In all our travels and movements, in all our coming in and going out, in putting on our shoes, at the bath, at the table, in lighting our candles, in lying down, in sitting down, whatever employment occupies us, we mark our forehead with the sign of the Cross."
St. Basil the Great (330-379) taught that the apostles learned to make the sign of the Cross from Christ Himself. What was the reason for this pious gesture? This we learn from two early Fathers of the Church: St. Athanasius, in 330, stated that “by the sign of the Cross…all magic is stayed, all sorcery confounded, all idols abandoned and deserted;” and “by the sign of the Cross, if a man uses it, he will drive out all the deceits of the demons.” And in 386, St. Cyril of Jerusalem taught that we should not be ashamed to make the sign of the Cross in public, for “then the devils will behold the royal sign and flee trembling far away.”

🇺🇸 She asked Adolf Hitler for an autograph.
Then, before his SS guards could stop her, the American tourist leaned over the barrier... and kissed him!
On August 15, 1936, Carla de Vries of Norwalk, California, was attending the Berlin Olympics with her husband.
She approached Hitler’s box hoping to film him with her small movie camera. Smiling, Hitler signed her swimming ticket.
Then Carla suddenly lunged.
He pulled away from her first attempt. She tried again and managed to kiss him as an SS guard rushed forward, while the crowd roared with laughter and applause.
Hitler appeared to laugh it off. Privately, however, the security breach was no joke: contemporary reports claimed that several guards were dismissed, others demoted, and his protection doubled.
Back in California, Carla insisted that the kiss had not been planned. "He appeared so friendly and gracious", she explained. "I’m a woman of impulses, I guess."
That was precisely the illusion Nazi Germany had created for the Olympics: a welcoming, peaceful nation, carefully staged for foreign visitors.
Carla returned to her family’s enormous California dairy and lived until 1985. History remembers her as the American woman who kissed Hitler.

Grey pill truth nuke. If you are a very calm and steady person, it behooves you to flip out and make a scene once every 12-18 months so people know you have it in you.
And because it's so out of character, people will take it way more seriously than a histrionic drama type flipping out.

Bob Costas was 18 when his father dropped dead at JFK airport. At the wake, a man handed him a thick envelope with $6,000 in $100 bills. It was everything his father left behind, and a bookie would never have paid it to a dead man.
In the video below, he tells the story himself.
His father, John, was a big-time gambler. Not casinos, not racetracks. Ball games. Bob says the mortgage was literally riding on his bets.
When the games went the wrong way, he threw things, cursed and yelled. Bob’s mom and sister would leave. Bob stayed, because watching the games with his dad was the only way to be close to him.
Friday, May 15, 1970. A cop knocks on the door. Before he says a word, Bob’s mother asks, “My husband’s dead, isn’t he?” John Costas had a heart attack walking through JFK. He was 42.
At the wake, one of his gambling buddies walked in with the envelope. “Your father was up when he died. Give this to your mother.” A bookie never pays a dead man, so the friend went to the bookie himself and said John sent him to collect.
Decades later, Bob Costas refused to read sports betting ads on air. Today the bookie lives in everyone’s phone. Is that progress?
